Purpose

The Director of Training and Culture is responsible for leading a team that develops, implements and continuously improves all quality, training and customer experience programs..

路 Honor and uphold the Cookies culture in all locations.
路 Spearhead industry leading internal and external customer engagement through Cookies Customer Journey training and product knowledge.
路 Implement a world class hospitality program to drive repeat business through strong local grass roots networking, customer data capture and execution of our loyalty program.
路 Partner with recruiting team to set hiring standards for all store team members.
路 Develop and oversee management and associate onboarding programs, training modules, ongoing leadership development and DOR (division of responsibility) programs for stores.
路 Train managers how to use appropriate tools such as social review platforms, customer satisfaction surveys and key KPI鈥檚 to increase revenue.
路 Deploy a systematic approach to training team members with modules, quizzes, tracking and video content that results in consistency across all stores.
路 Partner with 3rd party vendors to facilitate training workshops and create product knowledge material for the store teams.
路 Work with HR on succession planning programs to build bench strength.
路 Work closely with Retail, Marketing, Operations and Product teams, as well as Regional Directors, District Managers and Store Management to exceed sales volume and KPI goals.
路 Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the stores, District and Senior Management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Passion for and knowledgeable about Cannabis
- Passion for Cookies Culture
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Retail or Dispensary training, team leadership and development oversight, and retail operations experience required.
- Experience with developing LMS platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work and lead cross functional teams
- Travel, including overnight, will be required
- Must have excellent problem solving skills
- Must have excellent team building skills
