Job Purpose
Lead the Sales growth of the Supply & Packaging segment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- treamline the strategies of success thus far and repeat across entire sales team.
- ‘Roll up sleeves’ and create sales opportunities daily.
- Meet or exceed budgeted P&L targets for the Supply & Packaging segment.
- Develop and manage the sales department.
- Create and manage KPIs for each Supply & Packaging Segment.
- Pipeline management.
- Key Account management.
- Lost and inactive customer win-back initiatives.
- Work with cross functional stakeholders to setup sales success.
- Continue to pass knowledge to Sales Operations Manager to gain efficiencies.
- Work with Director of Marketing to ensure all media is in sync with sales needs for closing the sale.
- Attend industry trade shows to network and create new sales opportunities.
- Ensure a cohesive and connected culture with the Greenlane Family.
- Develop the Supply & Packaging Sales team into a focused unit with clearly understood goals and objectives.
- Key Sales representative in meetings: Product On-boarding, Merchandising, and Product R&D.
- Provide relevant market information to stakeholders for product development.
- Work with Project Management team to ensure seamless communication from sale to execution
- Build processes necessary to enhance customer service and satisfaction as it relates to deliver of both Generic and Custom Product.
- Leads and directs the operational, sales, to affect the most efficient management of company assets, while attaining targeted customer service levels and ensuring company practices and standards are implemented and maintained. Monitors and reports progress.
- Hires, assesses needs and current staff, develops and leads office teammates providing opportunities for continuous growth and development
- Responsible for budget preparation, management, review and approval of appropriate expenses.
- Other duties as assigned by manager or designee.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- 3-5 years experience in a senior-level sales role
- 2-3 years in cannabis supply and packaging industry
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Knowledge of structuring goals and revenue expectations.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fostering a cohesive sense of community.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.
- Build relationships with both Key Suppliers and Key Customers.
- Daily one on one’s with key reports.
- Provides customer interface for new services and programs and problem resolution.
- Intermediate NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics365
