Elixinol is seeking a Director of Digital & eCommerce with experience in the hemp industry or other highly regulated spaces. We are looking for an individual who can roll up their sleeves to orchestrate, implement and measure all aspects of our ecommerce ecosystem. The Director of Digital & eCommerce at Elixinol is a unique combination of marketing strategist, SEO specialist, and data analyst who will be responsible for helping our brand win in eCommerce and digital markets. The ideal candidate must be scrappy, creative, collaborative and ready to drive high-level strategy while simultaneously executing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the ecommerce team in the execution of our defined strategy and operational plan to achieve sales and customer objectives
- Manage the relationship with external ecommerce partners to ensure goals and objectives are met and teams are working effectively together to drive growth
- Responsible for the performance of the ecommerce channel in hitting sales and P&L targets
- Lead business & financial planning for ecommerce including modeling & business case development
- Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances, focusing on drivers with the objective of proposing actions to improve business outcomes
- Partner with internal and external Marketing teams to develop and implement new initiatives and ongoing programs to acquire and retain customers
- Partner with the development team on enhancements and new functionalities to improve the ecommerce channel
- Develop a roadmap to leverage Elixinol.com to drive sales and profitability with strategic vendor partnerships
- Partner with internal and external operations teams to add service coverage, optimize processes, share best practices and address or escalate issues as required
- Regularly develop materials to communicate strategy and results to the organization
- Provide leadership on new ecommerce opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-10 years of eCommerce experience, with a proven ability to drive revenue
- 2-3 years of Cannabis/CBD/Hemp industry experience in digital marketing or eCommerce sales
- Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, database marketing, social media and display advertising campaigns and tools used to support efforts
- Proven track record of executing timely and high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in both acquisition (e.g. driving qualified traffic, new customer outreach programs, email acquisition efforts) and retention marketing (e.g. conversion optimization, A/B testing, customer engagement, etc.)
- Hands-on campaign management experience including Google and platforms
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Deep SEO experience
- Cannabis industry/regulatory knowledge
- Data analytics, critical thinking and strategic decision making
- Forecasting, goal setting and action planning
- Detail orientation and exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication/presentation skills
- Self-motivation, "can do/whatever it takes" attitude, sense of urgency for delivering results
- Versatility, flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to change
- Google Analytics set-up and reporting proficiency
- Microsoft Office Experience
- Magento knowledge preferred

Salary: Base (DOE) + variable compensation
