You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring our social media marketing campaigns across social networks to support the company’s strategic vision and build brand awareness. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a central role within the marketing department enhancing how we communicate both internally and externally. You are a strategic thinker, an eager learner, and have a creative mindset.
Digital Media Responsibilities
- Intermediate to expert level understanding of social platforms and associated social media tools.
- Find loopholes in the Social Media Policies that will allow the ads to not be taken down.
- Supporting the interpretation of short, medium, and long-term digital marketing strategies into a social media context.
- Social media community support and communications. Coordinate Digital Ads, inquiries and comments with the right internal stakeholder as needed.
- Generating Digital Media Advertisements that are "on brand" and coordinate with the social media policies?
- Support reporting and analysis on sentiment, follower growth, engagement, and campaign performance.
- Coordination with all subject matter experts (designers/writers) on the execution of the digital marketing social strategy
- Attend events or visit sites to produce content as required.
Digital Communication Responsibilities
- Supports the Communications Manager with updating the corporate intranet, blog, digital ads and e-mail blasts.
Job Requirements
- A University Degree in Marketing or Currently in pursuit of Degree
- A minimum of two(2)years of professional experience in social media marketing / communications
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and social media tools
- Ability to create and edit photos and video content for social platforms such as Instagram stories, Facebook, Twitter etc. is an asset.
- Act as an expert and advisor to the company on all aspects of social media.
- Excellent social listening skills.
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in social media communication strategies.
- Current on the latest trends in social media and audience behaviours.
- Proficiency with email marketing tools, managing lists, and creating email campaigns.
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills and experience as well as experience working with project management software.
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry and the regulatory environment within which it operates is preferred.
- Understanding of paid social media campaign development and execution is an asset.
- Bilingual(English and French) is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $1,435.00 - $5,831.00 per month
