Description:
The Brand Communications Intern will work across Kevlar Rose social channels (with a special focus on Instagram, Tik Tok & Ello) to grow the community, deepen engagement and drive key brand awareness. The intern will assist with the development of a monthly content calendar and support the PR team with the execution of brand initiatives including social strategy, competitive landscape analysis, partnerships and more.

- Remote position, for college credit
- Social media savvy and detail-oriented
- 10 hours/week min
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent social and community management skills, with an in-depth understanding of Instagram.
- Innovative and tapped-in thinker with a natural interest in the luxury, beauty and cannabis spaces
- A skilled content creator with the ability to support messaging needs through both content calendar and off-the-cuff/live channel management
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time-management and highly organized
- Proficient in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and relevant social analytics and social listening tools
- Experience with content creation/design tools is a plus (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree program, with the ability to receive college credit for the duration of the internship
Responsibilities:
- Keep up with digital marketing strategies and trends to assist in creating and sending email blasts to attract new clients.
- Create high-quality content deliverables (copy & creative) for different press mediums.
- Manage Instagram content calendar by assisting with daily posting on both in-feed and story posts via Later.com to achieve topline messaging and merchandising objectives.
- Provide monthly analytical reports on follower growth, engagement, etc., summarizing any high-level key learnings, areas of optimization and takeaways.
- Pitch creative concepts for social media initiatives and strategy that support both seasonal/timely campaigns as well as evergreen initiatives.
- Work alongside the Director on brand strategy initiatives such as partnership programs, ambassador program growth, retail and editorial strategies.
- Proactively monitor and provide analysis of relevant industries, social landscapes, talent, noteworthy campaigns, trends and new social platform features.
