Menu Management
- Ensure all products and pertinent information displays correctly across active sales platforms for all stores at all times, including but not limited to point-of-sales, the Sozo website, and any third-party platform integrations, such as Weedmaps or Leafly.
- Work with central and localized inventory teams to ensure accurate inventory is available for purchase and/or viewable on all platforms and reduce frequency of mis-orders
- Work with marketing team to ensure product descriptions, photos, and overall product presentation is on-brand for both Sozo and our third-party retailed products.
- Stay up-to-date on Sozo standard practices and state compliance.
- Maintain best-practice solutions for product display options across platforms, such as bulk vs unit, product categories, brands, sub-brands, etc.
- Develop and maintain use of ‘product-masters’ optimized for automatic integration across platforms to eliminate double-entries and redundant work. Identify and define ‘point-of-truth’ for product and data entry.
- Work above tasks into daily routine.
Platform Management
- Vet effectiveness of all platforms in use to ensure all available features are utilized and effective. Maintain familiarity with alternative menu management systems or opportunities.
- Act as point-of-contact for all third-party menu integrations including account reps, and customer support for troubleshooting, updates, and opportunities
- Help coordinate smooth transitions into or away from menu platforms, working to reduce manual entry and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Help set up menu integrations for new stores and ventures, coordinating with Sozo launch team, marketing, and retail.
- Monitor online ordering and be available to retail team to ensure it’s running smoothly. Respond to general or location-specific issues that may arise.
Documentation and Organization
- Ensure a consistent sales experience across all stores by utilizing the same pictures and product information, building out organized folders for information and photo assets.
- Help build and adhere to detail-oriented SOPs for product entry that optimize legibility, complete and consistent product information, the quality of automatic API integrations, and reduce manual correction and re-entry.
- Achieve standardization across all retail locations, eliminating the need for local platform management (6-8 people performing these tasks, less efficiently, without common SOPs could lead to tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue).
Marketing and Customer Service
- Coordinate with marketing team and inventory team to ensure recurring and periodic sales, specials, and pricing changes are accurately timed with sales campaigns, implemented, maintained, monitored, and closed.
- Stay up to date with sales programs, strategies, and logical application of sale types to large swaths of product, from percentage-based, to bundle deals, to target pricing.
- Respond to all reviews and messages across third-party platforms including Google, Weedmaps, etc, coordinating with marketing and retail teams to provide best responses and follow-ups.
Update store information, such as hours and ordering hours, as needed
- Help increase online sales at large and as a percentage of total retail sales by helping to maintain a clean and simple user-friendly sales funnel and smooth ecommerce experience.
- Help monitor sales trends, product sales, and customer information, ensuring clean working data through accurate product entry and systems maintenance. Provide data exports as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must pass all background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
- Ability to use standard office equipment, Microsoft Office applications, computer software, and a quick understanding of the METRC tracking system
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 35 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job may require walking or standing for long periods of time along with lifting, bending over, and crouching
