Job Title: Field Marketing Manager
Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer
FLSA Status: Regular Exempt
Job Location: any Major Metropolitan Area in MS and the ability to travel statewide
The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with practitioners, 3rdparty accounts, and local organizations. The role has a strong educational component, and the candidate must be able to articulate brand, product and cannabis knowledge to various audiences. The candidate will also be responsible for organizing and activating at community and industry events with a focus of reaching out to potential new patients and generating leads. The candidate must be goal driven and have a strong focus on ROI driven initiatives.
The Field Marketing Manager will be required to travel within the designated region and must also be able to work nights and weekends in accordance with the marketing team’s promotional event calendar.

- Support strategic cross-channel marketing plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Develop Budtender Incentive programs for both internal and external accounts
- Maintaining and developing relationships with the cannabis medical community and 3rdparty retail accounts
- Work in conjunction with Marketing Leadership to set targets to increase revenue and grow market share
- Develop and implement marketing goals and plans to support the field
- Adhere to brand guidelines
- Manage marketing plans to support successful product launches, store openings, and retail marking initiatives
- Create briefs to support regional marketing efforts
- Implement product set-up and display strategies for merchandising
- Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies and opportunities
- Meet with accounts to educate, address concerns, and provide solutions
- Present products and services to prospective accounts and set up account displays
- Participate in industry or promotional events, trade shows, community events
- Assess sales performance according to set KPIs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Outstanding communication skills. You love interacting with people and thrive in cross-functional team environments
- Positive, go getter attitude and “No job too small” mentality
- Problem-solving aptitude
- General knowledge of product display and merchandising
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background record check.
- Must hold a valid form of identification (Driver license, state ID)
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred. Industry work experience may be in lieu of education and/or experience requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and carry at least 30lbs object
- Physical ability to drive for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to operate electronic equipment (scanners, computer, laptop), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices.
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc.
WORK SCHEDULE
- This position will work an average of 40 hours per week with flexible hours depending on the needs of the Marketing Leadership and events calendar. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
