A Sales Director is needed to work closely with our management team to supervise, coordinate and perform a broad range of activities related to new business development in the emerging medical cannabis market. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated and excel in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are typically being managed at the same time. River Remedy is a vertically integrated medical cannabis company that produces a variety of consumer-packaged goods for distribution among medical cannabis dispensaries in Mississippi.
We have plans to open as many as five dispensaries over the next two years.
The Dispensary Manager role oversees the dispensary staff to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and manages the day-to-day responsibilities of running a licensed medical dispensary.
The Dispensary Manager will manage the staff, product, and the physical space of the dispensary.
Work will take place in a 37k square foot facility Byram which is collocated with cultivation and processing operations, the only one of its kind in Mississippi.

Title: Director of Manufacturing
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Overview:
· River Remedy is a vertically-integrated medical cannabis company that produces a variety of consumer packaged goods for distribution among medical cannabis dispensaries in Mississippi.
· The Director of Manufacturing role works alongside the Director of Cultivation and Chief Operating Officer to lead a team focused on rapid production of compliant, cost efficient, and high quality medical cannabis products.
· The Director of Manufacturing will manage the post-harvest processing of cannabis flower, laboratory operations (extraction and processing), edible manufacturing, pre-roll manufacturing, and all final packaging.
Responsibilities:
· Generate production schedules by department based on upcoming capacity forecasts and sales forecasts.
· Oversee the preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.
· Hire Lab Production Lead, Kitchen Lead, and Packaging Lead along with other manufacturing department technicians lead ahead of product and process launches.
· Ensure all product labeling is executed in regulatory compliant manner.
· Audit and ensure inventory accuracy in each department.
· Oversee the IQ, OQ, PQ process of all new equipment.
· Regularly analyze human capital vs. forecasts to ensure desired production capacity is met.
· Ensure all inventory items are properly tagged and tracked within state mandated seed-to-sale software and River Remedy’s internal ERP system.
· Build out inventory par levels for various components and products within the various production processes.
· Oversee the relationship between River Remedy and its licensed testing partners.
· Train Department Leads on all inventory software, compliance software and other processes.
· Design a lean component ordering process based on lead times, on-hand inventory, and forecasted sales.
· Oversee all repairs, upgrades, and installations within the various manufacturing departments.
· Maintain production data logs.
· Work with business systems to develop framework for producing a Daily Production Report for the Management Team’s review.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
· 7+ years of management experience.
· B.S. in Engineering, manufacturing, or management preferred.
· Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred.
· Prior experience in commercial food, packaging, or cannabis production preferred.
· Obtain Cannabis Work Permit (involves background check)

- Defoliate and break plants into smaller pieces
- Hang plants on dry rack
- Clean both dry and flower rooms in between harvests
Cleanliness
- Sweeping, mopping and all other required cleaning
- Cleaning of the plant housing devices
- Maintenance and cleaning of the plant tables
- Maintenance of the plant pots
- Reporting any issues to management to ensure a timely fix
Requirements
- Previous experience working with plants, plant disease and pests is desired.
- Strong work ethic with flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Proven ability to maintain consistency in a fast paced, hardworking, high-stress environment.
- High attention to detail with ability to scout for disease and pests is required.
- Must possess a can-do attitude and be able to work with a team.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must obtain Work Permit from the Mississippi Department of Health and submit personal information for background check.
