The time frame for starting operations could be earlier or later depending on state compliance. Interviews will commence immediately; starting date of training is approximated to be November 15th of 2022.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
The Security Specialist monitors the inside of the facility, the parking lot as well as the entrance and departure of members, staff, vendors, contractors, visitors, and any other persons in and out of the dispensary to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor access in and out of the dispensary, helping dispensary staff control access to the facility in accordance with State Rules and Regulations by following a strict check-in process, and actively monitoring physical security around the site
- Greets members in person or on the phone; schedules appointments; oversees member intake and renewal procedures
- Assist dispensary staff with controlling access to the facility by ID examination and verification
- Assist dispensary staff in maintaining access logs of all visitors in compliance with state rules and regulations
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections of dispensary and grounds
- Monitor video surveillance system when requested
- In the event of emergency, secure staff, visitors, and building; act as liaison with local police or law enforcement
- Maintain daily written and/or electronic tracking sheets, noting all activity on premises
- Escort staff members or others between vehicles and building as requested
- Document any incidents, or accidents, and report them to the General Manager.
*Scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 1+ years' experience in private or public security, law enforcement, or other government security agencies or vocational training.
- Knowledge of computer & office equipment and programs (Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
- Ability to focus; attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as a team member, and independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly
- Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and absolute reliability and honesty

Mandatory Qualifications:
The successful candidate will need to be 21 years of age and in compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Must complete a State/Federal background check and fingerprinting. Must complete eLicense for employee badge to access restricted areas of the premises.

Ratio is looking for a Direct Representative to be the mastermind behind all daily operations for our New Philadelphia, OH location. Our perfect DR is someone who loves to tackle the details of inventory, financial records, and safety and security measures. We're also looking for someone who can hire and shape our local team of passionate team members and serve as an ambassador to the larger community, educating patients about cannabis. A strong leader knows that success is always a group effort, and will excel at working with the employees and patients to ensure Ratio offers the best knowledge base and customer experience at every level.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
The Designated Representative is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary by overseeing and directing all day-to-day operations, including overseeing all Dispensary Agents. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, a problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and management abilities, and solid administrative/clerical and time management skills.
- Ensure the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
- Adhere to the company mission statement and core values, maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Be an active learner and contribute to Ratio Cannabis knowledge library.
- Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance Ratio’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
- Deliver direction, oversight, and execution of all dispensary operations.
- Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of assigned team and make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees.
- Responsible for onboarding and training Patient Care Specialists.
- Set an example and inspire internal team to deliver the highest level of customer experience.
- Review performance of other dispensary employees on a regular basis.
- Provide education and development for staff about medical cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption mechanisms.

- Oversees daily dispensary operations including but not limited to counsel patients as needed, cash management, record keeping, employee scheduling, inventory management, etc.
- Mentor Dispensing Agents to ensure patients are receiving the upmost care.
- Manage intake of all deliveries including verifying the accuracy of delivery, inspecting packages, submitting manifests to inventory tracking system, etc.
- Delivers a superior level of customer service, both in person and by phone.
- Always maintain the highest level of compliance and ensures all proper legal and company policies and procedures are strictly followed.
- Diffuses difficult situations and ensures issues are resolved to the member's satisfaction while upholding company standards.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment inside and outside the facility; has a high attention to detail and regularly reviews facility needs and communicates them to the appropriate parties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Masters, Pharmacist or Extensive Work History in the industry. Cannabis experience preferred.
- At least three years in a supervisory or management role, specifically with POS business operations.
- Must be proactive, with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills.
- Meet timelines consistently and be able to effectively work under pressure.
- Continuously open to constructive, developmental feedback.
- High level of interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, often working cross-functionally.

Position Summary/Objective:
The Sales Associate will assist the Ratio Management team with the activities and operations of the dispensary, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines.
This role is responsible for assisting patients in selecting appropriate products for purchase, preparing orders, executing transactions, cash handling, and customer service.
Candidates must possess the ability to cater to experienced and inexperienced patients by providing knowledge of product with particular emphasis on the patients’ outcomes and quality of life. Candidates must continuously further their education of each product to dedicate full attention to patients' needs, thereby, effectively communicating the connection between the products effects on their body and mind. Ratio Cannabis is building a strong ethical, team-orientated staff that is knowledgeable in an assortment of modalities. Responsibilities:

State Requirements & Application Process:

· A 2”x2” head and shoulder photograph captured within the previous six months
· Name and license number of the dispensary employing the applicant
· Name, license number, and signature of the designated representative for the dispensary employing the applicant (only applicable for Support Employee license)

· A sworn, notarized statement that the applicant has not been convicted of a disqualifying offense in any jurisdiction. First-degree misdemeanors and felonies are disqualifying offenses for the position. Ohio Administrative Code, 3796: 1-1-01 lists all automatic disqualifying offenses that would prevent an individual from obtaining an employee license. The listed offenses under this rule will not automatically disqualify an applicant from licensure if the applicant was convicted of or pleaded guilty to the offense more than five years before the date the application for licensure is filed.

Background Check Requirements:
· Prospective dispensary employees “must submit fingerprint impressions to the bureau of criminal identification and investigation (BCI&I) for a criminal records check.”
· Additionally, “the criminal records check performed by BCI&I shall consist of both a BCI&I criminal records check and a federal bureau of investigation (FBI) criminal records check. BCI&I shall send the results of the BCI&I and FBI records check directly to the state board of pharmacy.”
