EXPERIENCE
Applicant must have solid experience in general laboratory techniques, 2-4 years of experience in GC disciplines (GCMS, GC-HS, GC-FID, GC-ECD) or HPLC disciplines (LC-DAD, LCMSMS) required. Applicant should be highly proficient at mathematics, dimensional analysis and dilution calculations. Experience in a regulated lab (EPA, FDA) or ISO environment preferred. A high level of proficiency is required with quantitative analytical chemistry, instrumentation, software applications (ChemStation, MassHunter) as well as MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). Experience in basic and advanced lab skills, equipment maintenance, quantitative analysis, extractions, calibrations, sample analysis, quality control, and calculating results is required.

Field Sample Technician / Lab Technician. This position has elements in field sampling, lab duties and customer support in a fast-paced, state-regulated and accredited analytical chemistry lab.
Pure Analytics is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Santa Rosa, CA licensed to provide Laboratory Services to the growing CA Cannabis Industry.
Day-to-day will be spent in the field sampling products for State Certified Testing with time also spent at the main facility performing lab duties such as Sample login, Sample preparation and assisting the Chemistry staff, responding to customer inquiries and performing administrative tasks. This position requires attention to detail and an ability to complete tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Pure Analytics is a Laboratory Services Organization Servicing the CA Cannabis Industry. This key position in our organization provides field sampling services and general customer support to our Northern CA customer locations in addition to performing some lab duties. This position coordinates scheduling of field sampling service, route planning and pick-up of samples and is an important aspect of customer relations. This position is integral in our growing company and has components in sales, marketing, customer support and lab services in a fast-paced, state-regulated analytical chemistry lab.
Day to day will be spent in the field sampling products for State Certified Testing with time also spent in office managing incoming customer inquiries, assisting our sales and operations staff with admin tasks, as well as assisting in lab tech and facilities duties. Invoice delivery and cash handling are also a function of this position. Pure Analytics is a Laboratory Services Organization Servicing the CA Cannabis Industry. This key position in our organization provides field sampling services and general customer support to our Northern CA customer locations. This position coordinates scheduling of field sampling service, route planning and pick-up of samples and is an important aspect of customer relations. This position is integral in our growing company and has components in sales, marketing, customer support and lab services in a fast-paced, state-regulated analytical chemistry lab.
Day to day will be spent in the field sampling products for State Certified Testing with time also spent in office managing incoming customer inquiries, assisting our sales and operations staff with admin tasks, as well as assisting in lab tech and facilities duties. Invoice delivery and cash handling are also a function of this position. While in the field, duties include but are not limited to traveling between the facility and customer locations intaking samples, upholding established methods of communication, completing all required forms including Chain of Custody documents and performing State Certified Product Sampling. This position requires a high level of attention to detail paired with focus and an ability to complete tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures.
This is an hourly position with compensation DOE including full medical, dental, prescription and vision benefits. Applicants should anticipate 2-5 hours of overtime per week based on season and routes assigned. This position is eligible for holiday and performance. EDUCATIONCollege degree is required, BS preferred. Minimum of 2 years of college experience and ability to pass a reading/comprehension and personality test. 1 – 3 years of chemistry, biology, general lab, field sampling, customer relations, and/or sales experience is a plus.
Applicants must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. No exceptions.

- Good Customer Service Skills
- Experience with taking payments, billing and invoicing is a plus.
- Good driving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and in a team in which all members are mutually accountable.
- Lab skills or science education a plus
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team with positive approach that fosters teamwork and growth.
- Ability to perform tasks in a high-volume production work environment.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication and computer skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to read, speak, write, understand and follow English verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to plan and schedule a route of multiple stops and pick-ups with a high-level professionalism.
- Ability to engage in customer communications to support the sales and executive staff.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, perform complex tasks and efficiently manage workflow.

Salary: $20.00 to $27.50 /hour
