Northern Fire, Inc. is a boutique cannabis grow. Northern Fire's cultivation processes were developed out of our mission to grow the highest quality cannabis.
Northern Fire has a small dedicated staff and we are looking to add one more full-time position.
Given that we practice unique processes of cultivation, no experience is necessary. You are ideal for this job if you are wanting to learn the cultivation process. We also offer growth opportunities from within.
Assistant Cannabis Cultivators perform all cultivation tasks in every stage of growth.
This is an introductory level entry position. Training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work as a team on all cultivation stages
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Take direction from the Head Cultivator or CEO and help with any assigned tasks
- Work as a team to harvest and prepare plants for the drying and curing process including removing fan leaves, moving/hanging of plants, and cleaning work area
- Complete all other post production tasks including bucking, dry and wet trimming, packaging and cleaning
- Perform daily tasks such as plant watering, nutrient mixing, organizing, cleaning, and maintenance of all rooms
- Aid staff when needed with cleaning, pruning, harvesting, etc.
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Work in a quick and efficient manner
- Ensure daily compliance with policies including but not limited to state compliance, security protocols, sanitation protocols, access protocols, dress code and work schedules
Requirements:
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to stand up for up to 4 hours at a time
- Lift or pull up to 50 lbs, or utilize supportive equipment to accomplish this
- Possess valid driver's license or state ID
- Able to pass all background checks
- Be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
- Have strong communication skills
- Work with speed and precision with equipment and have lose attention to detail
