GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Cashier Staff greets patients at checkout, confirms products purchased, completes the sale via cash or card with an unambiguous attention to detail.
SUPERVISED BY: Dispensary Manager
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a busy medical cannabis center. The dispensary is a fast paced environment. Will be in almost constant contact with patients and co-workers. Work will include, but not limited to, dealing with patient requests for information on usage and strain details. Should be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, holidays.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Greet patients at checkout and verify purchased product.
- Must keep current with the dispensary flow & product locations.
- Complete cash or card sales at the register.
- Will be required to perform cash and credit card transactions, as well as issuing of receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to patients.
- Answer the phone, take messages, and direct calls to the proper person.
- Assist in the online product reservation process.
- Assist with daily cash reconciliation process.
- Keep the dispensary sales floor, restrooms, kitchen, & office areas clean, sanitized & free of clutter.
- Recall of company, state & federal procedures & policies.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to operate patient management software such as LeafLogix.
- Detailed verification on accuracy of financial & transactional data.
- Knowledge of e-mail, web search engines, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations to convey information effectively.
- Critical thinking.
- Concise near vision for viewing details at close range.
- Ability to listen to and understand patients and co-workers.
- Have knowledge of cannabis laws, cannabis effects, and conditions that can be treated with cannabis.
- Needs to be very organized and patient.
- Ability to work under pressure without losing composure.
- Ability to meet the needs of patients and coworkers without constant supervision.
- Ability to solve practical problems and operate a printer, scanner, and fax machine, etc.
- Ability to multi-task many diverse types of workloads
- Good memory & recall
- Exceptional customer service skills are a must with a friendly, warm, welcoming personality
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related sales w/ POS experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work requires periods of prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, computer, telephone, calculator, printer, scanner, etc.

Part Time Dispensary Inventory Clerk - Rolla

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting with accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory of cannabis and ancillary products within the dispensary. Ensure all products are not expired and products are properly packaged are not damaged or leaking. Will work inside the vault room to pick orders from within the dispensary and will prepare on-line express reservations for pickup.
SUPERVISED BY: Dispensary Manager
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a busy cannabis dispensary. Will be in almost constant contact both staff and patients. Work can be fast paced and may include dealing with multiple individuals. Must be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, holidays, or possibly city events.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Pick and prepare orders for sale within the dispensary.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of dispensary cannabis inventories.
- Conduct weekly inventory of all cannabis inventories for dispensary and secure storage.
- Conduct monthly comprehensive inventory of all cannabis in storage and dispensary.
- Must keep current with the dispensary flow & product locations.
- Recall of company, state & federal procedures & policies.
Performance Requirements and Skills:
- Knowledge of POS, inventory software, and reporting.
- Must be able to have a calm and pleasant demeanor towards all individuals at the dispensary.
- Has knowledge of cannabis laws, cannabis effects, and conditions that can be treated with cannabis.
- Be able to communicate personal knowledge of cannabis effects to others, clearly and enthusiastically.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively in all situations.
- Be open to learning about news, literature, or legal progress on cannabis.
- Be present for lectures and/or training sessions on new items, or research on cannabinoids.
- Keep up with the pace of new strains and concentrates, new products, prices, and the other variable elements of the dispensary.
- Ability to work with digital scales, label printers, scanners, printers, etc.
- Account for all components of inventory.
- Work collaboratively with vendors, dispensary, and security departments.
- Must be open to accepting other roles and/or jobs as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Point of Sale software, 10-key, magnetic stripe reader, or experience with cannabis software is highly desirable.

Will be in almost constant contact with both staff, patients and individuals from the public. Will check in eligible patients or caregivers and allow access inside the dispensary. Work can be fast paced and may include dealing with consumers, outside vendors/contractors, and law enforcement. Must be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Scan all cards for authenticity and verify eligibility in order to access dispensary.
- Greet everyone at the door with a welcoming and enthusiastic manner.
- Monitor surveillance cameras at control desk.
