We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! Working in the Medical Marijuana industry requires a positive attitude, it is rewarding, and opportunity for advancement is a huge part of who we are.
Palm Beach Gardens is our headquarters as we open more offices around the state. You will be coordinating with patients and providing them with continued care, up to date industry recommendations, and medication reminders on the phone. You will handle existing patient inquiries, patient concerns, rescheduling requests while meeting performance metrics and quality service goals in a team atmosphere.You will also be expected to perform clerical and administrative functions as well as assisting the Doctor in seeing patients as effectively as possible. Must be able to self start and take the lead on projects. A winning and positive attitude even when dealing with difficult patients is a must! The office is open 6 days a week so some weekend work will be required.
This is a full-time job, 40 hours a week is required.

Responsibilities:
- Following-up with 35-50 patients a day on phone calls, notating any changes to current medications, diagnoses, and any recommended changes.
- Educating potential new patients on inbound sales call to set appointment
- Answering questions for current patients as industry standards change
- Staying up to date on the industry's products and medical devices
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Keep up to date logs while maintaining Florida Department of Health Standards
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Remind patients of upcoming visits
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Maintaining general office finances (limited)
- Perform all other office tasks
- Assist the doctor as needed with medical records
- Assist the doctor with the necessary technology to be effective
Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical coordination and patient care is a must
- Must be able to handle a stressful work environment and demanding clients.
- High school diploma required, Associates and Batchelor degree preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Mastery of PC and Mac
- Proficient with Microsoft Word. Proficiency with Quickbooks, Athena (or other EMR), and or Excel is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Light travel will be required
- Driven
- Takes directions well
- Strong organizational skills
- MUST have your own, reliable transportation, be willing to travel as necessary
