Building a diverse and inclusive culture is paramount to our ethos. We are looking to add a Mid to Senior level attorney to our Corporate, Venture Capital and Emerging Growth team, “Venture Best”. The associate can be located in any of our Austin, Chicago, Raleigh, Denver or Salt Lake City offices.

What We Look For: Our ideal candidate must have deep experience representing growth companies and/or investors in venture capital financing transactions, value an environment where everyone is treated with mutual support and respect, and be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Qualified candidates will have 3-5+ years substantive experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and emerging company transactions as well as general corporate governance and commercial matters. Experience in licensing and technology transactions and/or public securities is a plus. Additionally, the new team member should be highly motivated and willing to engage in all aspects of growth company representation.

With mentorship from our highly skilled attorneys, we will help you to further develop your practical knowledge, drafting acumen, and become well-versed in the latest legal trends and the skillset necessary to succeed in the market. You will be assigned an expert Corporate or VentureBest attorney to guide you, help you set goals, and ensure you have access to all of the tools necessary to be successful.

Job Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Strong drafting and organizational skills
• The ability to interact directly with client management and opposing counsel
• Excellent academic credentials
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
