CANNABIS CULTIVATOR ASSISTANT
We are an indoor year-round OCP licensed cannabis farm in Freeport, ME, looking to fill a position for an assistant cultivator.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated cultivator with enthusiasm for producing healthy, high quality plants with attention to yield and regulations in an environment of growth and innovation.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
As our Assistant Cultivator, you will be responsible for helping our Head Cultivator oversee our indoor cannabis cultivation, including but not limited to:
- Create and maintain a cultivation plan that meets or exceeds industry standards for the cultivation of high quality product and optimization of operations
- Implementation of cultivation plan upon approval of company directors
- Strategize crop production over the course of the year and monitor progress of crops for optimal quality, health and yield
- Stay informed as to updates and changes in rules and regulations regarding cannabis and specifically, medical marijuana
- Make recommendations for changes in cultivation plan as necessary
- Maintain records of departmental procedures and activities, as outlined in OCP guidelines, as well as instruction from company directors
- Daily watering, pruning, defoliating, feeding, pest management and caring for overall plant health
- Maintain irrigation system
- Cloning, transplanting, propagating plant stock
- Plant waste and dead plants reporting and disposal as per OCP regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized facility
SKILLS:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Clear understanding of OCP laws regarding medical marijuana
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Positive attitude
- Basic computer skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid OCP ID card (IRC)
- Must be Windows computer knowledgeable
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Must be able to do physically demanding work for 8 hours a day.
- YOU MAY NOT BE A CANNABIS CAREGIVER OR CULTIVATE AT ANOTHER FACILITY
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Able to periodically bend, reach, and squat.
- Able to physically lift at least 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 7am to 3pm
Starting Pay: $15/hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday and one to two weekends per month.

CANNABIS HEAD CULTIVATOR
We are an indoor year-round OMP licensed Tier 3 cannabis farm in Bangor, ME, looking to fill a position for a Head Cultivator.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated cultivator with enthusiasm for producing healthy, high quality plants with attention to yield and regulations in an environment of growth and innovation.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
As our Head Cultivator, you will be responsible for overseeing our indoor cannabis cultivation, including but not limited to:
- Create and maintain a cultivation plan that meets or exceeds industry standards for the cultivation of high quality product and optimization of operations
- Implementation of cultivation plan upon approval of company directors
- Strategize crop production over the course of the year and monitor progress of crops for optimal quality, health and yield
- Stay informed as to updates and changes in rules and regulations regarding cannabis and specifically, recreational marijuana
- Make recommendations for changes in cultivation plan as necessary
- Maintain records of departmental procedures and activities, as outlined in OMP guidelines, as well as instruction from company directors
- Scheduling, delegation and supervision of employees as needed in all areas of cannabis operation, including but not limited to cultivation, tagging, manicure, storage
- Train employees in the use of METRC when necessary
- Daily watering, pruning, defoliating, feeding, pest management and caring for overall plant health
- Design and maintain irrigation system
- Cloning, transplanting, propagating plant stock
- Plant waste and dead plans reporting and disposal as per OMP regulations
SKILLS:
- Intricate knowledge of growing methods and plant care, including irrigation, micronutrients, beneficial bacteria, nutrient implementation, temperature and humidity control, air flow, plant diseases, insect and fungi treatment options, etc.
- Proficient in all areas of METRC, including use of METRC program, all METRC rules and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Data analysis and reports
- Clear understanding of OMP laws regarding recreational marijuana
- Staff training and management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid OMP ID card
- Must be METRC Knowledgeable
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Strong organization and communication skills
- 3 years experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
