We are looking for individuals with cannabis business to business delivery experience that are knowledgeable of cannabis laws, rules and regulations, who pay attention to detail, are efficient, and able to follow instructions. Candidate must be able to complete tasks in timely and efficient manner.

We are currently in the process of launching multiple brands to address different sectors of the cannabis market. The cannabis market is a very regulated, competitive and commoditized market. State regulations put a lot of pressure on the legal market that created a disadvantage to competing with the illegal market that is still controlling more than 70% of the market. So, the company must focus on products that are innovative, long lasting, very cost competitive, difficult for illegal market to produce and brand driven. The product focus is both medicinal and lifestyle brands with an emphasis on differentiation.

Duties and Responsibilities
Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
Load/pack boxes of product into transport vehicle.
Excellent customer service skills, and can effectively diffuse situations with unhappy customers.
Accurately manage delivery of shipping boxes, documents and collection of payments.
Responsible handling of shipping boxes, recorded data and collected payments.
Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently.
Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards.
Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing marijuana.
Continuously improve through feedback.
Safe driver with clean DMV record.
Constant awareness of surrounding environment for personal and business safety.
Willingness to drive for long periods of time.
Willingness to drive changing routes.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic understanding of Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable.
Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed.
Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisor.
Ability to listen well and communicate effectively various audiences and clients, especially with the direct supervisors and other co-workers.
Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately while not overstepping chain of command

This job requires driving for long periods of time, and working with your hands while lifting sometimes heavy packaging.

Primary Job Function:
- Prepare and package cannabis products in the variety, size and quality prescribed by company standards.
- Follow company procedures for receiving, preparing, storing and arranging product to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Consistently meet minimum quality and productivity goals.
- Accurately weigh cannabis products.
- Apply Labels and tamper seals.
- Assemble and label shipping boxes.
- Perform quality control check on finished product.
- Flexibility to assist other departments as needed.
Minimum Requirements
The minimum requirements include but are not limited to:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a Live Scan background check.
- Experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to proficiently read, write and communicate in the English language.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, pull and be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stay focused when performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.
- Ability to work with cannabis product without negative allergic reaction.
- Ability to maintain all procedures in accordance to company policy and California Public Health Department Standards.

Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Extraction Lab Tech 1 to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical and human nature. You will be processing cannabis biomass into Water Hash, Rosin, and other products.
The goal is to optimize extraction procedures and succeed in producing consistent and high-quality results for the California cannabis market.
Responsibilities
- Collecting hash and prepping for freeze driers
- Pressing hash to rosin
- QC with lab manager
- Transferring water, ice, material around workspace when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Prepare biomass for processing when needed
- Identify and report any issues that need to be addressed by Lab Director
- Clean and maintain equipment used in the processes
Job Requirements

Working Environment
This job operates in a low-temperature area within a professional laboratory environment. This role routinely uses specialized mechanical extraction equipment. You will be handling large amounts water, ice, cannabis biomass as well as work with freeze dryers, heated pneumatic presses, air compressors, and water pumps.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and stay active for long periods of time. Must be able to stay focused on single tasks at a time. Must be able to perform at a rate cohesive with employee standards. Employees must be able to see, hear, and communicate basic operational and safety instructions. Employees will be required to wear protective clothing and safety goggles during processing of cannabis rosin. Employees will be required to use hands, fingers, and arms to grasp, pull, twist, reach, and push as needed to operate basic tools. They will also need to use legs and feet to be able to climb and crouch as needed. Full body will be used to lift equipment, push carts, agitate cannabis biomass, and other heavy lifting needs.
Travel Requirements
The lab is located in Desert Hot Springs
