S*ummary of Position: *
Kind Farms sales position will focus on obtaining new purchasers of our product and for the best price point the market will bear. This sales position will find buyers for our new state of the art mixed light facility and our outdoor flower. This position will require a prospecting mentality. By developing a vast network of good buying partners, we will be more insulated from adverse market conditions. They will assist in all duties that pertain to generating revenue in California for KF. This person is extremely organized and has great attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: weekly/monthly growth goals and reporting, supporting existing business while creating new opportunities. Commission incentives will be based off new clients and hitting fiscal benchmarks. Ultimately, this is a sales role that is heavily focused on maintaining and building meaningful relationships with clients while creating new opportunities and growing the overall opportunity within CA. Our company is seeking an inside sales rep that can close new business and harvest long lasting relationships. Your performance will be judged by reporting on deadlines, and the amount of incentives you are able to obtain. This position requires individuals to be proactive self-starters, as well as the ability navigate the ever-changing landscape of the regulated industry. This individual will be relied upon to find buyers that will maximize the highest and best use of the flower Kind Farms produces.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Produce weekly revenue reports for shareholders
- Weekly meetings with executive team
- Daily interaction/meetings with production staff
- Present at all fulfillment and reconciliation (product pick up or delivery, cash payouts)
- Reconcile all invoices with manifests
- Negotiate terms and goals set by executives
- Maintain live, up-to-date excel spreadsheet tracking all inventory. Break down in types- Bigs, Smalls, Trim, Kief, Fresh Frozen
- Work directly with compliance/inventory manger to assure all sales are accounted for
- Oversee monthly/weekly orders and fulfillment
- Oversee communication from farm and distributor to lab
- Development of new accounts
- Coordinating product transfers with staff
- Maintaining QC (quality control) of all orders set for transfer
- Achieving proper activity levels as defined by upper management
- Must know and understand CA regulations for cultivators and distributors
- Managing image, brand and reputation of the company to cannabis industry
- Occasionally attending industry events and client relationships outside of 9-5 business hours
- Work to change the negative stigma through treating everyone with memorable courtesy
- Must be able to create and track invoices and manifests from vendors
- Collections of funds from distributors who do not pay. Go through collection process
- Must understand METRC. Must use software to gather information to report
- Must be proficient in software for data tracking. Adding new client information, licenses and sellers permit for records
- Must perform other duties as upper management deems critical to the success of the Account Executive role.
- Manage and address customer needs and issues, present to executive team
- Generating prospects, responding to sales leads, cold calling, pitching, and continual follow-up
- Utilize inventory program to maintain a record of all activity
- Demonstrate fluency, enthusiasm, and expertise on everything KF and KF affiliate related.
- Compose messages that are thoughtful, concise, and friendly to everyone you interact with
- Establish sales agreement contracts with qualified distributors. Collect deposits as needed per upper management
- Create annual sales & promotion plans with our distributors against agreed sales objectives.
- Grow the business through a targeted distribution and rate-of-sale growth in current markets and market expansion with appropriate new partners.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer demand and seek opportunities to grow sales.
- Program and carry out effectively sales calls individually and develop strong relationships with key accounts across the territory.
- Ensure that proper Brand standards and compliance standards are worked on in the market and achieved.
- Speaks directly with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered.
- Develop and maintain an organized list of target/key accounts in CA
- Signings of contracts after executive approval
- Conduct detailed account audits as assigned, take pictures; include photos with reporting documents
- Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management.

Job Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm
