Regional Sales Representative (Dispensary + Natural Channel)
Based in Louisville, CO, Kefla is an innovative natural products company that offers certified organic hemp-derived CBD chocolates and hemp supplements. We are seeking a self-motivated and organized sales professional for a regional outside sales position with a focus on the dispensary channel. A successful candidate will have 1+ years sales experience in the cannabis and/or natural products industry, existing relationships with retailers throughout Colorado, is comfortable working in a start-up environment, and has the ability to build upon our existing business and close new accounts.
A glimpse of job responsibilities:
·Prospect new accounts, set appointments, conduct demonstrations, and close new business.
·Regular follow up duties to ensure customer satisfaction while increasing sales within retail outlets.
·Develop lead lists and manage database of prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle.
·Act as liaison and main point of contact with retail customers
·Cultivate new business and grow brand awareness in the assigned markets.
·Work with retailers on achieving merchandising objectives to grow account and brand revenues.
·Participate in marketing events as needed and travel as needed for potential opportunities outside of regional market.
·Account management, strategic planning, key account presentations and management, marketing activities, and increasing our sales across Colorado.
·Develop relationships with buyers at cannabis dispensaries, retailers, cafes, grocery stores, and other potential retail outlets for Kefla products
·Identify and execute new opportunities
·Cold calling new customers and customer support for existing customers
·Work collaboratively with R&D to develop ahead of trend new products featuring cannabinoids
·Provide customer support and complete onboarding paperwork for new retailer/chains
·Contribute to trade show planning and execution
·Handle sales calls as needed
·Additional responsibilities as needed
· Willingness to drive long distances to meet with customers and travel as needed.
Qualifications
·1+ years sales experience in the Colorado cannabis market and/or natural foods market
·Existing relationships with retailers including dispensaries, grocery stores, and other outlets throughout the region
·Strong attention to detail, good follow up skills, punctual, and demonstrated track record for closing sales in person, via email, and over the phone
·Excellent communication skills, responsive, able to meet deadlines, and works well under pressure
· Ability to overcome objection and create win-wins.
· Must be self-motivated, able to work within a team or independently, have entrepreneurial drive, and ability to create and meet individual and team goals
· Positive mindset and eagerness to share our great products with as many people as we possibly can
· Competitive mindset and quick learner who can thrive in the rapidly changing hemp industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
