About us:Humboldt Bay Social Club is an expanding hospitality and cannabis business. Boutique hotel, vacation rental, bar and restaurant destination in Samoa, CA. Recently purchased 50 room hotel, Scotia Inn: with soon to be open restaurant, swim club, and two bars.

About the Job:We are looking for multiple Part-Full Time Cooks, dishwashers and bussers that are organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented (Scotia and Eureka). Food service experience a plus.

This is a part-full time position and hours will vary to start, but full time employment will be available in the coming weeks (20-40 hours per week). 3-5 days a week. A flexible schedule is a must and be willing to work weekends and holidays.

You must have your own transportation and cell phone and be able to receive and send texts and emails. You will be expected to walk up and down stairs and carry boxes and lift up to 50 pounds.

Primary Responsibilities:Follow written instructions for preparing, cutting, chopping, portioning, and mixing sauces/entrees.Cook food items by deep frying, vertical broiling, griddle, and baking.Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements.Stock items and log kitchen inventory.

Qualifications:Prior cooking experience. Preferably in a food truck or other high paced environment.Must be able to work as part of a kitchen team at a high pace.Food handling safety knowledge. Must be certified in food safe within 30 days.General food skills including: knife skills and food equipment operation knowledge (deep fryer, vertical broiler, processor, slicer, mandolin, etc.)Ability to accurately follow recipes and adjust flavors as needed.

$14/hr to start. Plus tips split evenly between front and back of house.Great employee benefit package including: friends/family discounts, discounted room rates, etc.
