Job Summary:
As a CannaCribs Technical Crop Advisor you will develop and maintain business relationships with growers, vendors, account managers, and consultants identified as strategic to CannaCribs and GrowersHouse. Serving as a local cannabis agronomic expert, you will position CannaCribs Consulting and GrowersHouse as the preferred solution to help enable Growers to maximize yield and profit from their operations. You will be accountable for helping the business achieve annual sales targets.

Duties:
- Establish agronomic plans with key growers that meet their farms/facilities short and long term goals by utilizing your strong cannabis production experience tied in with GrowersHouse’s portfolio of solutions.
- Support success in your market by developing and implementing personalized Nutrient feeding and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies for both indoor and outdoor crops.
- Support new farm/facility design including but not limited to lighting, feeding, and environmental control.
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase equipment and farm/facility input sales in order to meet and exceed market sales goals.
- Develop and implement strategies that encourages the use of GrowersHouse proprietary products
- Align with GrowersHouse Account Managers and retail stores to create a plan of product fulfillment and financing support.
- Be a trusted adviser to your clients on agronomics and chemistry.
- Identify existing facility challenges and provide solutions to farm/facilities on performance improvement.
- Assess, determine, and implement a strategic plan for your market that includes client growth, identification of top customers, and a plan on achieving business goals and sales plans.
- Suggest actions to improve service performance and identify product opportunities for growth.
- Successfully engage across the business to cultivate solid working relationships with account teams, vendor teams, and consultant partners to support implementation of customer plans.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's portfolio to competitors’ offerings/services.
- Represent the company in the field at trade events and visit facilities as needed to manage client relationships and accounts.
- Contributes to team effort by answering questions and accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- An MA degree in a Horticultural or Agricultural relevant field is preferred; or a Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years experience directly working in the agriculture/horticulture market
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to write both technically and commercially.
- Travel up to 75% of the time to designated territories and trade events as required.
