Cultivation Technician
FLWRPot – Adrian, MI 49221
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for aiding in the production, maintenance, and health of all plants by performing tasks assigned by the Head of Cultivation. The Cultivation Technician will perform operations pertaining to plant care, including but not limited to; defoliating/manicuring, trellising, transplanting, harvesting, cleaning and sanitization of the facility and equipment.
This entails following strict company SOPs, completing tasks assigned by management and reporting to the Head of Cultivation.
Individuals will be responsible for:
- General cleaning of equipment and (light maintenance) of the facility as to provide a clean and sanitary working environment
- Transplanting, i.e. Up-Potting multiple plants per cycle at different stages of life
- Defoliating and manicuring plants as directed by management and defined by
company training and SOPs
- Harvesting and trimming plants as set forth by company SOPs
- Staging and applying trellis to plants*
- Packaging raw flower into pre-packaged containers
- Production and packaging of pre-rolls*
- Record keeping and data entry in the state-wide monitoring system (METRC)*
- Performing all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have Driver’s License*
- Must be able to pass a State required background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 25-50lbs regularly
- Must have excellent organizational and time management management skills
- Bachelor’s in Science is highly recommended

- Is versed in cultivation specific procedures
- Can understand and implement the rules and standards set forth by the company in which abide by all state and local laws, regulations and policies

- Is efficient and can keep pace with the standards set forth by management*
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

The Cultivation Specialist is responsible for the production of high quality small batch cannabis at FLWRPot. This entails following strict company SOPs, completing tasks assigned by management and reporting to the Director of Cultivation. Job tasks include but are not limited to general cleaning and sanitization, transplanting, fertigation, IPM, defoliation, harvesting, trimming and packaging.
Individuals will be responsible for:
- General cleaning and (light maintenance) of the facility as to provide a clean and sanitary working environment
- Transplanting, i.e. Up-Potting multiple plants per cycle at different stages of life
- Fertigation of plants in all stages of life such as clones and seedlings, early and late veg, and flowering plants
- This also includes the ability to follow company operating procedures and nutrient schedules
- Integrated pest management in which employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to apply chemical pesticides and fungicides and beneficial insects to plants in all stages of life
- Defoliating and manicuring plants as directed by management and defined by company training and SOPs
- Harvesting and trimming plants as set forth by company SOPs
- Packaging of raw flowers and pre-rolls
- Record keeping and data entry in the state-wide monitoring system (METRC)
- Performing all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management
