POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Services Advocate (PSA) is the most prominent customer facing position in the entire company. The PSA directly impacts the experience of our customers, providing them with education and top-notch customer service. More than cashiers, they must be able to educate and build relationships with our customers and take all necessary steps to enhance the experience of every customer. A successful PSA must be a friendly, professional, responsible, well-spoken individual. The role requires an enthusiastic people-person that is eager to learn and passionate about cannabis.
Successful PSAs must be able to multitask in a fast paced, high-volume, constantly changing environment while ensuring that all transactions and store relations remain compliant with all local and state regulations. The position requires constant customer interaction, problem solving, and efficient communication in a highly regulated environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and bid farewell to all customers that enter and exit the dispensary
- Help new customers fill out and sign medical agreements provided by the state and company ensuring all information is entered correctly and completely
- File and organize customer information and documents while maintaining patient privacy
- Answer store phones and provide knowledgeable information to customers
- Up-sell complimentary products or promote specials
- Educate customers about products and services. Help them navigate multiple options based on their individual needs and desires
- Accurately process sales through our point of sale system and the state tracking system
- Provide knowledgeable, speedy, friendly service to all customers and patients
- Resolve customer conflict with a calm and professional demeanor
- Perform opening/closing duties and daily side work
- Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, common areas, front desk, and lobby area
- Continue education of marijuana strains, products, and the industry during downtime
- Communicate efficiently with management and coworkers
- Work with others to create a positive environment for our patients
- Work individually and with a team supporting others to reach sales goals
- Check medical paperwork and proper identification thoroughly and accurately
- Maintain 100% compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations in a highly regulated, constantly changing environment
- Handle large amounts of cash without error

Processing Technician
Job Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt Direct Supervisor: Processing Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Processing Technician is responsible for processing, trimming and packaging all cultivated cannabis products. This position requires the use and maintenance of various types of equipment and machinery. Candidates must exhibit excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and knowledge of state industry standards and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with post-harvest processes: Trimming, drying/curing, joint production and packaging
- Maintain clean and organized work environment: trash/recyclables, inventory/stocking supplies and general facility duties
- Completes tasks in an accurate, timely and efficient manner according to company quotas and SOPs
- Comply with CCC and industry standards set forth by the State of Massachusetts
- Provide feedback to management team to improve processes and core functions
- Assist with other duties assigned, including any task assigned by management within any department in the cultivation facility
- Perform routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments and devices used in production
- Complete checks on calibration and operation of trim equipment, bulk packaging equipment; cleaning of rooms and equipment between crops
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to improve and promote product quality
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems with machine maintenance including faulty parts
- Generate accurate packaging labels and conform to requirements regarding verification procedures as specified in standard operating procedures

POSITION SUMMARY
Ermont, Inc. is hiring Cultivation Technicians to assist with all aspects of Cannabis propagation in Quincy, Massachusetts. Our dispensary and co-located cultivation facility are located in the historic Quarry Hills section of West Quincy. We are a non-profit corporation founded by
Massachusetts residents committed to expanding the availability of medical marijuana for patients in Massachusetts. We offer a safe, welcoming environment, and are committed to setting the standard in Massachusetts in the evolving field of medical marijuana.
The cultivation technician will assist the cultivation management team with all tasks associated with the daily maintenance and production of a medicinal Cannabis crop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and the ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily plant maintenance: Environmental monitoring, irrigation, nutrition management, insect scouting, pruning, topping, training
- Assists with the propagation and movement of plant material: cloning, seed germination, transplanting, transport
- Assists with the harvesting of biomass: transfers, green waste disposal, cleaning
