HR Coordinator duties and responsibilities include all those listed below but are not limited to these. Previous experience in HR is a requirement. A successful HR Coordinator should also have experience with a variety of computer skills (Email, Microsoft office and general computer navigation) and be able to accurately handle HR and administrative duties.
Ultimately, the HR Coordinator should be able to ensure the smooth running of the HR of our company and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations in HR and administrative areas. Take a proactive management approach to all responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point person for the company in regards to HR and administration
- Assist in conflict resolution among employees
- Perform any and all administrative duties as necessary
- Assist the CEO and COO as necessary
- Assistance with DOH compliance tracking
- Produce an appropriate document management system for HR needs (or supplement those in place)
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires including background check processing
- Maintain employee files and licensures
- Auditing employee files
- Provide support to employees and customers
- Maintain and process filing of insurance claims and tracking of:
- MCP Card tracking
- DOH Compliance
- Address employees’ inquiries
Requirements
· 3+ years of HR experience and prior knowledge of HR and administration; employee conflict resolution experience a plus but not required
· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
· Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
· High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant will be a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
