Job Description

We are expanding and seeking a qualified team member for our Northern California and Southern Oregon labs. You will be working with existing scientists, and/or possibly heading the new lab in Northern California. This is your chance to join a growing company in an industry that is experiencing explosive growth- Cannabinoid analysis for public safety.

The candidate for this role should be well-versed in a broad range of analytical testing techniques such as, LC-MS/MS, GC MS/MS, HPLC, GC headspace, ICP/MS

Part time and consulting considered for qualified candidates.

• Analysis of samples using HPLC, GC MS/MS, LC MS/MS, GC/MS headspace and ICP/MS
• Review raw analytical data to ensure instrumentation is operating within spec
• Troubleshooting instrumentation
• QA/QC method development
• Sample prep, sample handling, and reporting
• testing of cannabis for contaminants: solvents and pesticides
• THC potency by HPLC
• Assist and direct lab technicians
• Assist senior scientist to establish methods for all aspects of cannabinoid testing
• Assist Lab Manager in optimization of chemical assays and general workflow improvements

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Working in Pharmaceutical, Toxicology, Food Safety, TNI/NELAC, GMP, or ISO accredited environment
• Familiarity with Cannabis and Cannabis products.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude
• Necessary experience to operate some or all instruments.
• Please state your experience. We use Sciex, Shimadzu, Varian, and Agilent instruments.

Salary: $30,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year

• LC MS: 1 year (Preferred)
