The Dispensary Associate is responsible for ensuring each member receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. - Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to members clearly and effectively.
- Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash and ATM transactions.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Facilitate the new membership and member renewal processes.
- Perform data entry and manage the member database.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Book appointments for members for services they request.
- Frequently maintain dispensary’s cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other related work as required.
Qualifications And Skills
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry highly desirable, but not required.
- Must be 21 years old and pass the criminal background check.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills
- Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match
- Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction
- High level of integrity
Physical Requirements
Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. Job Title: Post Cultivation Laborer
Department: Cultivation & Processing Facility
Reports to: Production Manager
Overview:
Responsible for performing various production-related tasks from harvesting of crops to preparation of final products to facility maintenance. Specific tasks may include harvesting of plants, manicuring and trimming of buds, participating in the drying and curing process, assisting with preparing wholesale and retail orders, helping to produce and package an array of Marijuana-Infused Products, and assisting in cleaning of grow and production areas. Primary responsibilities include performing assigned production tasks to company standards and that company and state-compliance standards are maintained at all times. Compensation is $15/hour.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing all harvest, trimming, grow room cleaning, fresh frozen harvesting, packaging, inventory management
- Ensuring compliance at all times, including keeping inventory shrinkage to zero
- Maintain absolute confidentiality at all times
- Ensuring standards of quality, and health and safety are met
Employment Requirements:
- 1+ year experience with marijuana production and trimming
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be 21 years of age
- Courteous manner with fellow staff members.
- Team player and strong work ethic.
- Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize.

The Cultivation Specialist is responsible for assisting with operating the cultivation facility to meet company targets and policies. He/she will aim to maximize crop yield and potency, while minimizing costs and ensuring compliance with all relevant Maine medical marijuana program regulations. Commercial greenhouse and agricultural experience is required, but not necessarily with cannabis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reliably executing cultivation tasks as determined by the Head Grower
- Inspect facilities and equipment for signs of disrepair, and report to Head Grower.
- Help to monitor and regulate plant irrigation systems and environmental controls.
- Assist with determining/monitoring/maintaining ideal growing conditions, for each room and stage of growth cycle.
- Practice and enforce safety regulations and policies.
- Identify and address threats to plants including disease, insects, mold, and other pests.
- Participate in all aspects of plant cultivation, harvesting, trimming, drying and facility sanitation as needed.
- Create cloning, planting, and harvesting schedules.
Employment Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Extensive knowledge of horticulture and botany.
- BS or AS in Horticulture/Floriculture/Biology or related field preferred.
- Commercial greenhouse experience (cannabis experience not required).
