Inventory Manager – Full Time
Seeking leaders for a one-of-a-kind opportunity in Bradley's newest dispensary.

The Inventory Manager (IM) will be responsible for the quality of products kept on hand and maintaining accurate records of said products. In conjunction with the General Manager (GM), the IM will closely monitor sales figures and customer preferences and maintain adequate inventory on hand to meet projected customer demand. The IM will be responsible for placing and tracking orders of any products the dispensary needs and alerting the other departments of expected shipments and contents. This position will be intimately familiar with the Company’s POS system and the State’s verification system and be responsible for training all agents in all inventory control procedures. This position will also work with the GM or their delegates to ensure POS and end-of-day inventory reports match confirmed inventory levels and work to identify/resolve any discrepancies that occur. Additional duties include responsibility for securing and scheduling all inventory that will be transported for the dispensary by a third-party transporting organization to another cannabis dispensing organization or a cannabis testing facility. The duties listed are not exhaustive and other responsibilities may be assigned to the IM by the GM. The IM will serve as an agent-in-charge. Responsible for vendor relations – including, relationship building, outreach, collaboration, and unification of our storefront’s menu unification, recognition, and consistency. The IM will also directly communicate with the GM for any/all things regarding general operations and personnel related issues as this individual is required to know both sides of management operations.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- The IM is responsible for supporting Phili dispensary in Bradley. All inventory operations and compliance guidelines with the goal to always deliver the best most consistent customer service experiences that driven by excellent inventory accuracy
- Requires exemplary leadership qualities and best practiced inventory policies, procedures, and systems
- The IM will report directly to the GM and AGM and always ensure efficient and effective inventory operations
- Ability or ability to develop skills in receiving, IT/technology, compliance, operational and procedural development
- Partner with management to ensure all inventory goals are being met
- Ensure all back-end compliance with all dispensary policies and procedures are enforced
- Communicate needs and ideas to upper management to better scale business practices
- Maintain continued education around all product knowledge, company information, plans and promotions
- Exemplary record and data maintenance on all necessary documents, databases, manifests, nightly, weekly, monthly inventory counts, logs, adjustments, and all reporting
- Assist with all staff training
- Receive vendor deliveries with sub-par attention to detail, due diligence, and accuracy
- Ensure menu and product accuracy in store and online
- Work with AGM to recruit and develop staff with diverse skills
- Expert is all POS functions
- Ability to learn all technological skills required
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in retail or inventory environment (combination education and experience)
- 1-2 years of cannabis experience
- Consistent and constant communication on all levels

Position Job Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid license or state ID

- Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to be flexible – Travel is at times necessary; therefore, travel is required for retail management

The Role
An Assistant Dispensary Manager is talented at both motivating people and moving product! This team member rallies and organizes our passionate team of Patient Care Specialists and loves grinding away at the details of record-keeping and logging data to keep the store blazing along from open to close. The Assistant Manager pays close attention to sales records as well as state and local regulations to make sure everything at the dispensary is always up to snuff.
Responsibilities
- Provide best-in-class customer service
- Lead the team to follow Deer Park's mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Follow established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Dispensary Manager and owners
- Assist all patients and customers in making the right product choices by being knowledgeable of how different methods of cannabis consumption affect people differently. Suggest dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced people
- Complete and appropriately delegate (if applicable) tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including:
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verification of proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for patients
- Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the regulatory electronic verification systems
- Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Security measures and safety compliance
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Management of visitor log
- Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers
- Reporting of team member issues or patient situations
- Work with Dispensary Manager and/or Owners to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints
- Work with the Dispensary Manager and Owners to properly onboard and train new team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- One year Cannabis experience, Two years preferable
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting required, preference for specialty retail
- Inventory control experience required
- Must be proactive, with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills
- Meet timelines consistently and be able to effectively work under pressure
- Continuously open to constructive, developmental feedback
- High level of interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment, often working cross functionally
- Strong math skills
- Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email
