Who We’re Looking to Hire:
Cultivauna’s Director of Beverage Operations is a disciplined, motivated individual who maintains quality and consistency throughout the production process, while displaying a high degree of teamwork, mentorship, and desire for continual improvement. This position requires a thorough knowledge of all aspects of beverage production, including brewing, filtration, sanitation, packaging, and QA/QC. The ideal candidate also has a passion being an active participant of the Company’s Management Committee.
The Director of Beverage Operations is responsible for scheduling overseeing all aspects of product creation/development, manufacturing, operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
PEOPLE AND COMMUNITY
Build, develop, and lead a team of passionate, effective production employees; by facilitating an environment that fosters a team dynamic through: success recognition, team empowerment, and education. Develop operational goals and objectives for Production department. Establish best in class processes and programs associated with cannabis beverage operations and safe work practices.
PROCESS & IMPROVEMENT
Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day operations to exceed the expectations of our customers, suppliers, and Board of Directors. Implement and persistently improve SOPs to meet/exceed Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulatory standards. Identify technologies and opportunities to improve operational efficiency throughout the Production department. Maintain proper inventory controls of raw materials required for beverage production and packaging, and foster relationships with vendors. Ensure timely delivery of finished products, while focusing on quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process.
FINANCIALS & PLANNING:
Work as a member of the Management Committee to accurately forecast material needs, and operate Production Department within compliance of the budget for all short and long-term needs and objectives.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE:
Develop, maintain, and improve safety procedures and initiatives to ensure compliance with CCC, OSHA, FSMA, and other related safety organizations. Actively lead and participate on the Safety Committee, to ensure organizational compliance in equipment, training, and communication for all employees.
Skills & Qualifications:
3-10 years’ experience in a beverage production facility, with increasing managerial responsibility (Note: this position is not designed for a first-time supervisor);
A Strong technical proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn METRC and other software platforms
Experience creating, developing, and manufacturing innovative styles of beverages
Excellent communication and analytical skills, with experience managing employees in a manufacturing setting
Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing needs with profitability and growth;
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Given the physical demands this role requires, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
Ability to work on a platform ladder at heights up to 20 feet
Previous experience working with a Pallet Jack or Fork Lift;

The employee works on wet floors and with wet equipment
The employee regularly works around cannabis, water, high voltage electricity, and CO2.

Pay: From $71,000.00 per year
