With 6 growing facilities all located in the Northeast; New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and South Carolina, we proudly and successfully provide plants and merchandising services to our customers from Maine to South Carolina and across to Ohio. We are looking for a team player to join our Vineland, NJ facility in providing top quality plants. As a grower you will be responsible for the daily growing, care and maintenance of a variety of plants.

Responsibilities Include:

• Water crops with overhead irrigation and supplement with hand watering.
• Collaborate with Head Grower on nutritional management.
• Mix and apply pesticides as needed.
• Manipulate greenhouse temperatures, humidity to control crop growth.
• Sanitize and prepare greenhouse areas for seasonal plants
• Properly mix stock tanks of fertilizer; adjust the fertilizer injector accordingly. Keep accurate records and notes on fertilization. Apply as needed.
• Perform weekly scouting for insects and disease.
• Monitor crop stages to ensure that product will be ready on target dates.
• Apply plant growth regulators as required or needed.
• Remove substandard or diseased plants to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of growing techniques and technologies
• Assist on other jobs as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience growing annuals in a commercial greenhouse.
• Knowledge of greenhouse equipment and operations.
• Hands-on experience with fertilizers and pesticides.
• Ability to work weekend, during peak seasons.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
