Sandland Sleep is a CBN brand specially curated to help people restore their natural sleep cycle. We partner with dispensaries and delivery services all throughout California, and we’re looking to further expand our footprint by adding a few more amazing individuals to our sales team.
We’re searching for an enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager to manage sales of Sandland products to dispensaries and delivery services throughout their assigned territory (Los Angeles). You will help nurture and elevate client retention as well as be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing team in strengthening our partner relationships and most importantly establishing brand loyalty with our customers. Our TSM's must be knowledgeable in cannabis and passionate to share the importance of our products with the people they meet!
Education and tools will be provided to you so that you can properly relay information and work independently. Your schedule could be rotating to accommodate dispensary hours, so please be comfortable with traveling and maintaining time management.
Responsibilities:
- In partnership with VP of Sales, oversee selling into specific regional dispensary accounts
- Open doors and develop relationships with new dispensary and delivery service partners to increase sales and product distribution
- Weekly visits focusing on sell-in, sell-through and expanding brand awareness within your territory and brand footprint within each account
- Help serve as our boots-on-the-ground to our top tier accounts through in-store check-ins, educational trainings, and other required events
- Work with store decision makers to secure product display placement in hot zone locations and ensure visual excellence in each store within your territory
- Engage with consumers to build brand preference and grow brand loyalty
- Build sustainable relationships with all budtenders to consistently reinforce brand preference/loyalty to Sandland Sleep
- Provide budtender training, education and ongoing marketing incentivization
- Ensure distribution of marketing collateral, POS merchandising, swag and sales tools among internal team members and accounts
- Serve as a liaison with accounts regarding new offerings and product launches
- Utilize data-driven decision making to identify up-sell opportunities and improve the performance of our sales efforts
- Measure promotional efficiency and help improve our campaigns through insights gained in the retail environment
- Track and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and report progress to VP of Sales
- Communicate concept, planning, and execution of brand campaign parties, store openings, regional events, partnerships, retail activations, and consumer brand experiences to Sales
- Be the eyes and ears of the brand from the field; report on observations regarding retail accounts
- Create and constantly be updating detailed and accurate sales forecasting for LA market
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to Sales
- Actively collaborate with Sales in identifying new sales leads and opportunities
- Work with Marketing to develop initial to-market sales materials and in-store programs that will maximize sell-through for the product line
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in B2C or B2B sales with a demonstrable track record of meeting monthly/quarterly quotas
- Hubspot or similar CRM experience required
- Hustler attitude: you are determined to close sales and exceed your targets
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory
- Excellent verbal communication & presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply product-related information in a professional manner
- Proven ability to execute a strategy for assigned territory that generates and develops new business
- High level of integrity, personal motivation, accountability and radical self-reliance
- Willingness to work weekends & after-hours for educational business meetings, trade shows, events & presentations. It's not that often, but please be open to it
- Travel required: Driving around LA visiting retail stores
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
- MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE WITH PROPER VALID INSURANCE
- CANNABIS, BEAUTY, WELLNESS, HEALTH INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Education:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or related field preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/ use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 50 pounds
- Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl
Benefits:
- Compensation: $70K Base Salary plus Commission, Mileage Reimbursements, Expense Reimbursements and Company Benefits
