We are seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician who has the knowledge and ability to perform hands-on repair and routine maintenance across the entire facility!
This position is responsible for a variety of maintenance duties. The successful candidate must possess strong problem-solving abilities and be flexible and willing to work on various equipment and machines either independently or in collaboration with the maintenance team. May support other teams across the facility as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure facility is kept clean, orderly, and safe at all times with duties regularly including sweeping, mopping and pulling trash
- Maintenance duties including but not limited to servicing equipment, climbing ladders, working over head, working down low, minor plumbing, pressure washing, changing air filters, changing light bulbs, changing oil in equipment, weed eating, painting and furniture assembly.
- Harvest duties including but not limited to vacuuming tables and bays, spraying and washing empty flower bays, Sanitization of irrigation systems as required, run trellising and other assorted cultivation tasks
- Receive and store deliveries across facility as required
- Ensure snow removal and property maintenance schedule is followed and when required remove snow from pedestrian walkways and fire exits
- Promote and ensure a safe work environment with strict adherence to BOLD protocols
- Ensure that all repair and routine preventative maintenance activities for Facilities infrastructure are carried out in accordance with standard SOP's and all applicable health and safety guidelines
- Provide on call duties and respond to emergencies as required
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with any company SOP’s and guidelines to safeguard product and process integrity
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- HSD/GED
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required
- Must be able to work some weekends and some holidays
- Problem solving skills; willingness and flexibility to foresee and overcome obstacles
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge and experience in a wide variety of maintenance tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pneumatics, pumps and drywall finishing work
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems and components such as Boilers, Chillers, Pumps and Generators
- Safety certifications such as: fall arrest, ladder safety, WHMIS, etc

- Observe and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments to the Cultivation Manager

The Post-Harvest Technician reports directly to the Post-Harvest Manager and is responsible for harvesting, bucking, trimming, and any other handling of medical marijuana activities in an indoor grow facility. The Post-Harvest Technician will maintain a safe and clean work environment by following current good handling practices, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and complying with rules and regulations.

- Harvests plants in the appropriate plant production area, ensuring plants are handled properly and that each plant retains its identifying METRC plant tag
- Keeps harvest area organized and separate waste and plant material in accordance with their assigned harvest batch
- Collects all non-resinous fan leaves, branches, and stems to be weighed and recorded as aggregated waste per the associated harvest batch, after all plants designated to that specific harvest batch are harvested
- Cleans and sanitizes the harvest area and equipment used after harvest, assisting with disposal as needed
- Performs bucking of dried plants, ensuring trimmed leaf, trimmed flower, and stems or other waste are separated, from each other and per harvest batch, to be weighed and reported properly
- Ensures accuracy and traceability of trimming data by carefully collecting all plant material into its designated container with the associated METRC plant tag, after each plant is trimmed
- Performs weighing of plants or plant material during bucking, trimming and harvesting, as requested by the Post-Harvest Manager
- Performs quality assurance measures, including inspecting material during trim or packaging, maintaining a sterile environment and work area, and safeguarding against broken or defective packaging or storage containers
- Ensures neat and accurate labeling, checking that batch numbers, strains and other required information is correct and legible on the label
- Immediately reports any issues or deviations from quality standards to the Post-Harvest Manager during all post-harvest processes
- Sanitizes tools, equipment and work area daily

CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN
Full time
Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm

Overview
The Cultivation Technician reports directly to the Cultivation Manager and is responsible for the care of medical marijuana plants during the immature, vegetative, and flowering stages. The Cultivation Technician will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as pruning, transplanting and up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking plants using METRC tags. Compliance and cleanliness will always be the top priority from this position.

Responsibilities
- Implement cultivation practices as indicated by the Cultivation Manager
- Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants
- Perform plant maintenance, feedings and irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP, as determined by the Cultivation Director and Cultivation Manager
- Ensure the cultivation facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs
- Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, and production areas used in the cultivation facility to ensure sanitary practices
- Abide by high personal hygiene standards
- Apply pesticides in a safe and effective manner, wearing appropriate PPE, and after ample training and instruction from the Cultivation Manager
- Check and record accurate data daily, including but not limited to: pesticide applications, issues found when scouting plants, and any other items required by management
- Observe and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments to the Cultivation Manager
- Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest, including: sweep all work areas, sanitize crop benches and prepare to transplant new crops
- Assist in inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness regarding plant health and traceability, in order to uphold the company’s standard for quality
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems
- Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the cultivation facility
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to work independently and interdependently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
