CDP, LLC - Licensed Cannabis Manufacturer for Bhang and Derived is seeking: Gummy/Production Associate
Job Type: Full-time (40hrs)
Schedule: First two weeks of training will be Sunday - Thursday Regular schedule will be: Sunday – Wednesday & Saturday, (Off Thursday/Friday) with the need of increased production, days and times are subject to change
Start time/End time: 8: 00 am –5:00 pm
Breaks/Lunches: Two 10-minute paid breaks, up to one 1-hour unpaid lunch
Work Location: One location
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: In food preparation, manufacturing and assembly
Job Responsibilities:
The Gummy Production Associate is essential in providing the highest level of professionalism, company values, teamwork, productivity and time management . This team member will possess leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and is result driven. This position will work alongside the Gummy Production Leads, Production Supervisor and Product Procurement in all daily work activities. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safe manufacturing of cannabis infused gummy products in accordance with mandated state rules, regulations and established company standard operating procedures.
Reports to: Gummy Leads,Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Director of Operations, COO
Collaborates with: Gummy Production Leads, Gummy team, Chocolate team, Packaging team, Lab

Qualifications:
- Must possess a High School Diploma / GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous culinary or manufacturing of confections experience is required
- Previous food manufacturing experience is highly desirable
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is desirable
- Experience with Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices is desirable
Job Duties include:
- The unloading of raw ingredients
- Preparing all supplies and equipment for the manufacturing of cannabis infused gummies
- Counting batches or individual units
- Popping out gummies from molds
- Sugaring
- Packaging, sealing and labeling
- Counting and documenting finished products made on in-house BPRs
- Assists with all cleaning tasks in the gummy production rooms as needed
- Complies with and follows company food safety and quality policies
- Monitor the production processes, anticipate production concerns and communicate any production issues to effectively continue the production process
- Demonstrate proficiency using each piece of equipment used in the manufacturing of cannabis infused gummies
- Complete daily inventory audits of finished products and report any discrepancies to the gummy leads
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Must be receptive to feedback from management
- Follows all personal hygiene practices daily, along with ensuring all required PPE requirements are adhered to
- Observe quality of product, processes and report any issues to gummy production leads and or management
- Double checking all products for accuracy
- Must maintain accuracy with all inventory counts
- Maintain clean, organized and productive work areas that meet all New Mexico health code requirements
- Assisting other production departments as requested by production management
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting, (up-to 8-10 hours per day)
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
- Work around machinery and equipment that rotates and or gets hot
Licensing/Certificate Requirements:
- Must maintain a clean state and federal criminal record
- Must hold a valid NM Food Handlers Certificate
- Must maintain other required licensing and or certificates as directed by NMRLD/CCD
