Apprentice Plumber’s Commercial Division
Andgar Mechanical, LLC has an opening for an Apprentice Plumber based out of our headquarters in Ferndale, WA. Andgar is a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor providing Commercial HVAC and Plumbing for the greater Puget Sound area with over 50 years of service. This position works mostly between Whatcom and Skagit counties but may include Snohomish and King.
Pay, Incentives, and Benefits:
- Hourly wages start at $25.00 for this apprenticeship

Specific duties include:
- Drill holes, excavate trenches, cut pipe, nail plate, and fire caulk
- Collect needed tools and materials for the assigned tasks
- Travel to job sites
- Identify opportunities for learning new skills, take initiative to find additional work when finished with given task
- Proficient use of PPE for all construction tasks
- Adheres to assigned work schedule and arrives prepared each day (attendance and punctuality)
- Responds to phone messages, and emails in a timely manner
- Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, maintaining a clean work area
- Seeks assistance as needed and asks questions in a timely manner and to appropriate staff
- Responsive to inter-company personnel
- Consistently meets the overall goals of commercial Mechanical Plumbing are, timely performance of duties
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Reliable and dependable with an eagerness to learn
- Able to interact with all coworkers and supervisors on a positive level
- Self-motivated especially doing repetitive work
- Basic understanding and proper use of hand/power tools
- Valid Driver License and MUST have acceptable driving record
- Drug and alcohol-free including cannabis
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
