JOB DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Compliance Attendant shall be a reliable, skilled individual who is responsible for inventory cycle counting, verification of required documentation and product counts for intake by conducting daily audits of inventory, tracking and distribution of product. Responsibilities also include accounting and reporting inventory surplus, product returns, waste, damages, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and procedures, OSHA standards, AZDHS, and other state and local regulations. Being reliable, self-motivated, demonstrate excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail is essential.
The Inventory Compliance Attendant’s role is flexible and varies from day to day. Successful inventory compliance attendants can identify solutions independently and work with minimal supervision; be proactive and proficient with communication, organization, and time management skills and enforce a compliant, professional, positive, and free of substance abuse workplace.
MISSION STATEMENT FOR THE INVENTORY DEPARTMENT:
To create the ultimate customer experience by automating and implementing an efficient product-tracking system, streamlining the inventory management process, simplifying documentation, increasing accuracy, and creating a reliable support system for the retail department.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Organize, manage, and assists in weekly/monthly physical inventory counts within the facility
- Completes inventory procedures using electronic tracking system (BioTrackTHC/NetSuite)
- Reviews inventory in BioTrackTHC/NetSuite system to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinates and manages daily plant movement and removal
- Ensures inventory counts are performed on schedule with acceptable results, and the proper documentation is being executed and filed
- Settles all inventory discrepancies and reports the resolution of such discrepancies
- Develops monthly summary for the Inventory Compliance Lead of all inventory discrepancies and how the issues have been resolved and/or mitigated.
- Keeps a detailed inventory log, and records all dates, tasks performed and relevant results
- Maintains a working knowledge of AZDHS, OSHA, Food Safety and company policies and procedures
- Inspects individual areas for of maintenance issues and immediately notifies the Inventory Compliance Lead
- Maintains all equipment in working order, properly cleaned and put away in assigned area when not in use
- Resolves conflicts respectfully and in a timely manner, asking from assistance of HR as needed and when required
- Participates actively in department team and all-staff meetings
- Wears adequate Personal Protective Equipment as required
- Always communicates to supervisors and peers respectfully
- Maintains job-related confidentiality
- Attendance at work and punctuality is an essential function of this position
- Actively participates in department team and all-staff meetings
- Operates with a sense of teamwork
- Identifies hazards, reports accidents, incidents, and near-miss accidents through the proper channels and in a responsible manner so that they can be investigated, determined, and eliminated to prevent future occurrences.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid AZ state issued ID
- Reliable Transportation
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Hold a valid AZDHS Cultivation Agent Card (company provided and maintained)
- Strong computer skills (MS Office suite, primarily Excel), including ability to create and interpret data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing project needs in evolving situations
- Hand dexterity and the ability to do repetitive movement
- Ability to read, interpret and adhere to documents such as Company Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Employee
Communication material
- Exposure to a fast pace/deadline related environment is preferred
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 20 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to work in a greenhouse environment in inclement weather for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to speak and communicate in English verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
- Bilingual (Spanish and English speaking)
