As we continue to scale in the next year, we are looking for experienced Account Executives to join our team.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing a fundamental understanding of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
- Process new business, including transference applications to Flux applications, issue binders and invoices, and check policy coverages for accuracy by Flux guidelines.
- Select carriers to approach with accounts and market accordingly.
- Negotiate terms with the underwriters, including price, deductible, enhancement, and exclusions.
- Prepare formal quote proposals, review with broker and coordinate sales presentations.
- Process renewal business including locating files, preparing, and mailing solicitor letters and/or preliminary submission information, issuing binders and invoices, and checking policy coverages for accuracy by Flux guidelines.
- Process cancellation and endorsement requests, including issuing binders and invoices.
- Manage incoming calls from producers and companies.
- Maintain good working relationship with current agents and other co-workers.
- Maintain current knowledge of the cannabis insurance industry and sales ideas through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, literature reviews and/or formal continuing education.
- Perform database file management and input information. Accurately manage and maintain documents in agency management system and customer relationship management system.
- Perform other duties, tasks, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.

You will be a great fit if you have:
- At least two years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in a Commercial Lines
Account Executive role focused on P&C lines of coverage within an insurance brokerage firm.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as superior client service and problem-solving skills.
- Appropriate state licensing to transact and advise on insurance.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrated efficiency with computer systems and software, including but not limited to
Microsoft Office products and Adobe.
- Experience using and Agency Management System – Applied Systems (EPIC) preferred, but otherwise, the ability and willingness to learn.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of brokerage experience.
- Property and Casualty insurance experience required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
- CA Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Cannabis Training University Certification within 3 months of hire.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This position is a salaried, exempt, and full-time position.
Salary range is $50,000 - $80,000 depending on work location and experience.
This position may work from our Rocklin CA location or remotely.
This individual will report to the P&C Operations Leader.
