Humboldt Sacred Roots Nursery

Job Title: Clone Sorter

Location: West End Road Arcata

Status: Full-Time

Normal hours of operation 7 days a week 7:30 am – 11pm.

SUMMARY:

Humboldt Sacred Roots Nursery is part of a vertically integrated cannabis company, with operations ranging from seed to manufacturing. We commit to professionalism, integrity and high standards. As the company grows, we require like-minded individuals to meet our objectives and achieve our goals.

Someone who is reliable, that can problem solve, and can perform required tasks while adhering to company safety, privacy policies and state/local regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs sorting and organizing of clones beginning to root
• Maintains precise attention on sorting and organizing
• Clone care and monitoring
• Careful plant maintenance
• Ensuring all clones are and remain properly labeled
• Leafs and prunes plants
• Sanitize tools, equipment and personal workspace at end of each shift
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Reliable transportation to work

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· Cannabis experience preferred

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, employees will be working in a climate-controlled nursery conditions conducive to plant life. Temperatures are kept in the mid 70’s with high humidity. Employees are exposed to strong lights, occasional strong odors and occasional loud noises.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Remains in a standing position for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 15lbs regularly, 30lbs infrequently
• Ability to focus on repetitive tasks
• Hand and finger dexterity required for extended periods
• Consistent hand-eye coordination
• Wearing gloves and other required protective gear for extended periods

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
