Company Introduction

Treehous, LLC is the parent company of Capital Grow Consulting and Townhome Landscapes. Capital Grow Consulting is the premier online marketplace for home gardeners in Washington DC. This entity is positioned to flip the health paradigm on its head, starting with our revolutionary approach to cannabis cultivation. Townhome Landscapes, is a one-stop shop for landscaping services. In 5 years, we will process over $1 billion dollars through our online store and app.

We are looking for two Back-End Web Developers responsible for managing the creation of web applications for Townhome Landscapes and Capital Grow Consulting. The first project is creating a client facing app that allows clients to manage payment, scheduling, and submit work requests. Wireframes are already created.

Responsibilities

- Assist with project management and deadline creation in Zoho Projects

- Identify solution for photo/file sharing and storage

- Connect and Manage Webhooks and API Connections

- Building reusable code and libraries for future use

- Optimization of the application(s) for maximum speed and scalability

- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic

- Implementation of security and data protection

- Design and implement data storage solutions

Skills And Qualifications

- Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS

- Understanding accessibility and security compliance {{Depending on a specific project}}

- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

- Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

- Data migration, transformation, and scripting

- Setup and administration of backups

- Outputting data in different formats

- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

- Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language {{Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of one or more of PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript etc.}}

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

- Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles

- Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment

- Experience with webhooks and connecting APIs

Compensation

$15-30 an hour, compensation tied to income brought in through the app. It is expected that you work on backpay.

1% of profit for every year employed with Treehous, LLC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
