DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
- Create new vendors
- Update vendors as needed
- TIN match to IRS database
- Process yearly 1099's
- Maintain vendors to ensure proper documentation is on file prior to payment
- Audit employee reports in Concur
- Work with internal departments as needed
- Contact appropriate vendors for follow up when needed
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain data in information systems or databases
- Safeguard confidential information and documents
- Additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS *
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
- Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Prior experience with 1099 reporting
- Prior experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or others
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage high volume and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
- Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media
- Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to those who are managed in the department.
- If necessary, ability to work overtime and to be flexible with schedule
EDUCATION *
- High school diploma or GED required
