DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *

• Create new vendors
• Update vendors as needed
• TIN match to IRS database
• Process yearly 1099's
• Maintain vendors to ensure proper documentation is on file prior to payment
• Audit employee reports in Concur
• Work with internal departments as needed
• Contact appropriate vendors for follow up when needed
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain data in information systems or databases
• Safeguard confidential information and documents
• Additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS *

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Prior experience with 1099 reporting
• Prior experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or others
• Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage high volume and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
• Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media
• Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to those who are managed in the department.
• If necessary, ability to work overtime and to be flexible with schedule

EDUCATION *

• High school diploma or GED required
