We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive to find business opportunities and manage client relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base. The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in customer service. About the job:
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations.
- Utilize solutions-based selling philosophy.
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics; achieve team sales objectives to meet company goals.
- Respond to objections and understand customer needs.
- Ability to produce a consistent pipeline of new and qualified prospects.
- Continued education/knowledge of internal software and services rollouts as well as researching and understanding trends in the industry.
- Develop database of prospective client information; maintain comprehensive understanding of the ever-changing cannabis landscape.
About you:
- Committed to the growth of legal cannabis across the U.S. and beyond!
- 5 years experience in B2B sales position (cannabis industry preferred)
- Familiarity with the challenges of the cannabis business environment in the U.S.
- Understanding highly regulated cannabis industry with the ability to quickly adapt to new and changing information
- Empathy and the ability to build effective relationships with people of all different backgrounds
- Demonstrated commitment to achievement of challenging goals
- Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.
