Role Summary and Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic outside sales representative to develop new and nurture existing accounts with an energetic approach to building B2B relationships that lead to winning, closing, and repeat business.
In this sales role, we seek individuals with outstanding motivation, organizational, and people skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs and the value of your product. Those with military experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Retail Landscape and Business Acumen
Understand regulatory and market dynamics for general health, pet, and adult use branded CBD/Hemp and continuously monitor governing policies that differ state to state.
Customer Management
Develop a strong network of customers who have a desire to participate in the emerging legal cannabis market.
Sales Management
- Develops pipeline for near, mid-term and long-term sales potential with key accounts and prospective accounts.
- Uses negotiation skills and adjusts tactics in line with opportunities to increase value in relationships and close business with new and existing partners.
Planning & Prioritization
- Develops sales forecasts/phasing and budget/gap management
- Partners cross-functionally with other sales teams, marketing, and supply chain colleagues to drive alignment on plans for the bulk business
Qualifications
- College degree in business or related
- Excellent communication skills
- Success in sales negotiations
- Organized and motivated
- Reliable transportation for regional travel
Compensation includes base salary plus commission.
