Top Hat Mushrooms is currently seeking a Waterer / Browning Room Asst. for a commercial mushroom farm. This candidate will provide assistance to the Browning Department Supervisor in the growing process of the mushrooms.

Job Duties:

* Water the blocks ensuring proper hydration for optimal growth

*Follow Watering Schedule and make room control changes based on the Browning Room Supervisor's guidance.

*Ensure proper room temperature and humidity, make changes as necessary, record twice daily.*Clean the blocks of any potential contamination or premature mushroom formation

*Ensure rooms are clean at all times

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude and task oriented
• Can communicate with leader and others
• Dependable and consistently on-time

Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Job Type: Full-timeWage: $16-18/hr. to start D.O.EJob Location: Scio, Oregon

Required: Must be coach-able and able to learn the process and procedures to be successful.
