Telemarketer Job Summary

We are looking for a determined and energetic Telemarketer to help us grow our business. You will make outbound calls to potential customers to share information about our company and explain how our products and services can benefit them. Your ultimate goal will be cultivating new clients for our products by answering their questions and providing excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced environment, so you must be a motivated self-starter who can maintain a professional demeanor while speaking to different kinds of customers.

Telemarketer Duties and Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential customers
• Share information about our products and services by following sales scripts
• Answering potential customer questions and follow-up call questions
• Closing sales and leading customer through the purchasing process
• Record calls through a computerized system
• Perform customized targeted sales strategies
• Meet quotas for cold, active, and inactive calls

Telemarketer Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 Year Telemarketing or customer service experience is a must
• Energetic, professional, and friendly demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Pass a background check
• Cannabis Knowledge is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,114.00 - $6,343.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reseda, CA 91335: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Telemarketing: 1 year (Required)

Role: Telemarketer

Role Description:

ICTC Pros, an affiliate of Illinois Cannabis Training Center (ICTC), focuses on helping business owners and sales leaders generate leads and gain market share through cold calling and marketing services.

At ICTC Pros, we’re motivated by our mission to increase access to opportunity in our community. A portion of all sales is directed toward our work to support social equity in the Illinois cannabis industry through education and community building.

We are looking for a dynamic telemarketer to join our team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Follow-up on leads via telemarketing
• Use sales and contact management technology such as ActiveCampaign
• Report to sales manager

Experience:

• Non required. Will train.

Compensation: Commensurate to experience, Starting at $12 to $16.00 an hour

Work Location:

• Office; Bellwood, IL

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
