The transporter is primarily responsible for the secure transfer of marijuana products and cash between licensed marijuana facilities. The transporter will also interact with our customers at every juncture of the supply chain - growers, processors, and provisioning centers. Though it may seem so, this is not an easy job of delivering packages from A to B -- you will be expected to keep detailed records, communicate clearly, and troubleshoot problems on the go.

This position will put you on the road and on the forefront of a booming industry. As a representative of our company and this industry, you will be expected to showcase the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

This position is based in Grass Lake, MI, and will require daily travel to local and regional facilities.

Day-to-day functions will include:

• Prepare and inspect vehicle prior to departure
• Adhere to daily delivery manifest and other necessary documentation
• Appropriately seal and record packages and containers
• Drive cargo vans to make deliveries, up to 300 miles per day
• Maintain communications with dispatcher
• Present highest level of customer service etiquette in all customer interactions
• Engage intake managers and provide them with guidance
• Assist intake manager in receiving inventory
• Maintain general awareness of surroundings for suspicious activity
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as disinfecting and cleaning to maintain vehicle and facility appearance and hygiene

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 pounds, as well as carry, twist, and lower this load
• Carry loaded containers through narrow walkways, up and down stairs
• Enter and exit cargo vehicles, load and unload deliveries

General Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have or obtain a Michigan Chauffeurs License
• Clean driving record (last 3-5 years)
• Able to work 10-12 hour shifts
• Ability to safely drive cargo vans
• Must pass comprehensive background check
• Professional and positive demeanor
• Corrections, law enforcement, and security background preferred
• Customer service a plus

Secure Transportation Driver -

This position provides essential transportation of medical and recreational cannabis & THC products throughout intrastate Michigan. You are responsible for not only handling the product but also the cash & ensuring it's timely and safe delivery to our clientele. There is a large amount of compliance associated with the recreational cannabis market. You must be very detail-oriented - attention to detail is a MUST! You'll be equipped with a designated route guide/manifest and you must stick to this at all times.

Pre Employment Background/Drug Screening is required for this position.***Cannot be an MMMP Caregiver in the State of Michigan***

Requirements:-Valid Chauffer's License in the State of Michigan-Concealed Pistol License Required-Attention to detail & the ability to interface with customers-Professional, Clean Cut Appearance-Clean Driving Record-Clean Criminal Record-Ability to be flexible, you will wear multiple hats-Excellent organizational skills-Military/Law Enforcement Background is a plus (but not required)-Some security experience-Ability to drive for extended periods of time
