Sampler & Field Representative - Kona, Hawaii The Sampler/Field Representative will be working within a team of industry professionals, and is the initial point of contact between clients, samples, and the laboratory. The Sampler/Field Representative will be responsible for the overall assurance of sampling practices, documentation and shipment; assisting in the day to day receipt and support of the laboratory by tracking and maintaining sample documents and samples; verifying sample collection supply inventory. Role and Responsibilities· Oversee sample collection and custody management of hemp and medical cannabis samples from client sites.
· Verify sample documentation
· Label sample containers
· Proper attention to detail to store samples appropriately prior to shipment.
· Review and complete way fare bills for shipment as needed.
· Advise Laboratory of Shipment Delivery.
· Assist in sample management/ archiving and disposal;
· High productivity and the ability to multi-task coupled with a low error rate and attention to detail are critical characteristics of this position
· Demonstrates flexibility/agility and engagement in a changing environment. Expected to display good sampling technique to avoid cross contamination or misidentification of samples;
· Able to comprehend and perform both routine and non-routine analyses from compendial and internal sources.
· Successfully complete proficiency testing and initial demonstration of competency as required.
· Execute assigned workload on a need be basis in coordination with management and team members to effectively schedule multiple assignments;
· Contribute to a cohesive team environment;
· Meet project and service deadlines in collaboration with colleagues;

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Ability to comprehend sample documentation and scientific sampling technique utilizing analytical skills and practical experience.
- Ability to interface effectively with computers, scanning devices, and software applications.
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with a variety of levels of personnel from bench
level to upper management levels.
- Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities while maintaining department efficiencies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of frequently sensitive information.
- Ability to clean, disinfect, and sterilize is preferred.
- Education and/or experience in physical or life sciences or equivalent preferred.
