Cannabis Remote Telehealth Medical Marijuana Physician Jobs

Leafy DOC is expanding and we are actively seeking licensed physicians who want to join our platform and certify patients in the states they are licensed for the Medical Cannabis Program in the United States. We are looking for a responsible licensed physician in good standing to provide high-quality medical care by examining patients via Telehealth. This position is 100% Fully Remote and you create your own schedules!

We are hiring immediately and pay is based on productivity. Hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends. We operate 7 days-a-week offering providers the flexibility to set their own reoccurring schedules within any combination of days.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine Telehealth check-ups with patients to assess their health condition and determine if medical marijuana is a viable fit for them.

• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history

• Certify for medical marijuana and/or low THC and provide comprehensive instructions for administration

• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients and be an advocate for patients seeking to use medical marijuana as part of their treatment plan.

• Evaluate patients for the medical cannabis program via telemedicine

• Maintain notes and medical records in the EMR system (all electronic).

Skills:

• Proven experience as a physician

• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics

• Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms, and epidemiology

• Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contraindications

• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Respect for patient’s confidentiality

• Compassionate and approachable

• Responsible and trustworthy

Requirements:

• Unrestricted MD or DO license to practice as a physician in the state you are certifying in the United States.

• Ability to utilize technology for telemedicine visits (we will train!)

• Must have active, unrestricted license and active DEA.

• Your license must also be in good standing.
