Cannabis Newscaster Intern Jobs

Candidate must have experience handling a fast pace program with a blend of breaking news and news of the day. Will produce and anchor newscasts. Understanding of news writing and journalism standards are a must. Candidates must also have the ability to ad-lib during live breaking news situations and work well with writers and producers.

Job Responsibilities

• Must stay on top of current cannabis events not only in San Diego but nationally and internationally
• Must be computer literate and social media proficient
• Collaborate with producers to facilitate production elements
• Organize operational notes from newscasts
• Communicates all necessary instructions to production crew before and during newscasts

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication, writing, editing, and interviewing skills.
• Must have good organizational skills
• Able to handle constructive direction and criticism
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
• Ability to work well on a team

Job Type: Internship
