Thrive Apothecary is seeking an outgoing, dependable, and detail-oriented person for a part-time role as a weekend sales associate inside of the store. Cannabis experience is not required but a PLUS!

Position: Cannabis Sales Associate
Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Possess the outgoing personality to greet customers, get to know them, and understand their interest in cannabis. (You must be positive and welcoming!)
- Assist guest with identifying the delivery mechanism that fits their needs best.
- Maintain a professional and safe environment for all customers.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of cannabis and current regulations.
- Responsible for the proper and accurate use and training of the POS, cash handling, safe audits, and change drops
- Greets and checks in customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Assists customers in store and on the phone
- Encourages sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Ensures compliance with legal requirements
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Upholds the Company policies and procedures
- Upholds visual merchandising standards, checking that proper signage, price tickets, marketing materials, etc. are visible and updated
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and well-stocked store as well as ensuring general housekeeping duties are upheld
- Maintains a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment
Requirements and skills
- Prior retail or POS related experience a plus
- Must be friendly, trustworthy, dependable, positive, hardworking, and excellent with customers.
Hours
Saturdays 9:45am-6pm
Sundays 11:45am-6pm
Compensation
· Base pay: $16/hr

Position: Store Manager
In addition to providing an excellent sales process with our customers daily, the Store Manager will also oversee the daily operations of our store. The Store Manager will be the one to ensure smooth running of operations to maximize sales and minimize costs.
The goal is to manage our store in ways that boost revenues and develop the business while offering the customer a positive and memorable experience.
Thrive Apothecary Store Manager responsibilities include:
Organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel
- Serving customers daily during their shift by listening to the issue, determining an appropriate product, and guiding the customer towards a sale
- Supervising and guiding staff towards maximum performance
- Ensuring the store has staff coverage at all times
- Ensure the customers have a great experience with the store and staff
Responsibilities
- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
- Prepare and control the store’s employee schedule
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs with Operations Manager
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
- Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines
- Work with the Operations Manager on any issues that cannot be resolved at the store level
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position
- Knowledge of retail management best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
Hours
· Monday – Friday
· Standard Hours: 945am-6pm
· Some weekend hours will be required to monitor the performance of other employees and for special events
Compensation
· Base pay: $20/hr
· 1% monthly performance bonus based on store’s net revenue ($2000/mo. cap)
· 1 weeks paid vacation during first year
· 2 weeks paid vacation second year and beyond (eligible to use after 6 months employment)
