Patient Care Specialists engage in one-on-one interaction with patients from the time they enter the retail area until they check out and exit the store. Core Responsibilities
- Help customers in the retail location in accordance with GTI's mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Follow established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store
- Help customers make the right choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients
- Complete any work assigned during scheduled shift including:
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients
- Accurate use and maintenance of the Point Of Sale (POS) system; Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system
- Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)
- Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Security measures and safety compliance
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Management of visitor log
- Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers
- Reporting of employee issues or patient situations
- Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints
Education & Qualifications
- 1-2+ year(s) of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience with POS systems
- Desire to continuously learn (more) about cannabis, cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system, GTI products, and cannabis therapies – previous knowledge a HUGE plus!
- Ability to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various audiences
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Greenhouse / Nursery Grower: Our growers are expected to work closely with the production manager to produce high quality crops on schedule in a greenhouse or field environment. You will be responsible for the crops in your section from the moment the crop is placed on the bench to the time when the crop is removed.
- Work with the production manager to assign locations to crops, keeping crops with compatible environmental needs together as is practical. Promptly communicate changes in location to inventory crews.
- You will be expected to grow crops using cultural guidelines, horticultural techniques, and utilizing equipment available.
- Grow crops to Quality Standards within the allotted time. All horticultural techniques should be employed to meet the highest quality possible.
- You will be expected to manage and supervise a team of water techs and planters to maintain your crops in a healthy and sell-able condition until the expiration date.
-Work closely with IPM to monitor crop health and to schedule crop maintenance prior to plants growing beyond Quality Standards. You and your team will be responsible for rouging diseased plants and weeds from crops
- Maintain greenhouses in safe, clean, weed-free, orderly condition. Report conditions that require repair to Maintenance in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Supervise and assist growers and other work crews to achieve essential duties and responsibilities, particularly watering and fertilizing, transferring crops, greenhouse sanitation and routine maintenance.
We are seeking section growers or growers with a minimum of 5+ years experience in growing at a commercial operation. BS or AAS degree in Horticulture will be given preference.

JOB TITLE: Bud-tender (SALES ASSOCIATE)
JOB DESCRIPTION: A Bud-tender is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information. Individual responsibilities as a Sales Associate include demonstrating outstanding customer service and selling skills, cash management, keeping the sales floor stocked and tidy with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas to include facility maintenance i.e. cleaning and organizing backroom as directed my buyer and/or manager.
Bud-tenders that are employed at our cannabis retail shop are considered experts on the products sold. They are tasked with managing customer satisfaction by guiding customers through the selection process. Bud-tenders must stay current on cannabis products.
In Addition: The sales associate must be familiar with all policies as outlined in both the Employee Handbook and Sale Training Handbook as well as adhering to all local, State and Federal laws and regulations. Both handbooks further outline duties, policies, and requirements for all employees.
This is a part-time/on-call position with no guaranteed hours.
