Job Description
We are looking for an individual interested in a position as Technical Sales Specialist in the field of Cannabis & Hemp Ethanol Extraction and CBD Isolate production. This person will maximize the selling of the Company’s product lines through proactive and consultative sales, has a quick grasp of technical and commercial concepts, has a history of achieving sales success by delivering true value-added solutions to the customer, has the ability to build a sales network and communicate to all levels of customer personnel, has experience using nontraditional sales channels and social networking to reach and interact with customers, and who is interested in working in a medium size global company.
This person will be accountable for creating and implementing sales strategies, developing sales plans and budgets for management, and achieving sales goals. S/he will also serve as a mentor to the sales force and act as subject matter expert for the Cannabis & Hemp Ethanol Extraction and CBD Isolate processes.
We are looking for a dynamic, metrics driven, and proven sales professional to take maximum advantage of the growth opportunities in the growing Cannabis & Hemp markets via our expanding line of products for this market. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct selling activities and developing a network of sales agents and distributors.
This select sales professional has experience in traditional selling techniques as well as social media selling techniques, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, industry blogs, etc.
Sales professionals with 3-5 years of sales experience are encouraged to apply. This position requires travel.

Knowledge/skills:
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience selling industrial equipment preferably into the Cannabis or Hemp market.
- Proven business to business sales success.
- Solid technical background
- PC competency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prospecting experience via phone, internet, and social media.
- Proven cold calling / prospecting skills.
- A self-motivated, hands-on sales professional.
- Effective communication skills
- Positive, go-getter attitude
- Works well with team members
Job Responsibilities:
- Visit clients when needed.
- Present Company technologies to customers.
- Discuss with customers the equipment features, benefits, and advantages.
- Assess, analyze, and advise suitability of customer applications.
- Develop customer specific selling strategies in accordance with customer needs.
- Attend Trade Shows/Conferences and interact with customers.
- Gather competitive information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about Company equipment, including its technical and functional characteristics.
- Manage key target accounts for benefit of increasing sales of Company’s products.
- Build positive and long-term relationships with clients.
- Establish sales network with formal and informal distributors, agents, reps, project finders, etc.
- Develop sales via direct cold calling, web meetings, etc.
- Develop sales by utilizing social media channels, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc.
- Maintain active membership in approved trade groups for the purpose of representing the Company, meeting/networking with prospective customers, and improving the Company’s prominence in the industry.
- Provide reports on customer visits, monthly sales activities, and weekly planning.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date customer and prospect databases.
- Continually improve selling techniques by maintaining self-development programs.
- Position requires 40% or more overnight travel.
Additional requirements:
- Preferred education background: degreed engineer (mechanical, chemical, process, industrial, etc.).
- US passport or Permanent US Residency and good driving record.
- Professional references and background will be checked.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
