Curaleaf FL is seeking a Part-Time Store Associate who will be responsible for ensuring each Curaleaf patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment, assist members with their personal needs, maintain solid product knowledge, facilitate new membership and member renewal processes and always provide the highest level of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.


• Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, service providers and staff.


• Ensure members' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate member requests and/or problems to management when needed.


• Recommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for patient depending on their individual needs.


• Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.


• Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.


• Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.


• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.


• Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.


• Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.


• Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.


• Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.


• Perform other related work as required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.


• Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required.


• Must be 21 years old


• Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations


• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Proficient computing skills


• Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match

Summary

The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for assisting the Dispensary Management team in all operational aspects of running the dispensary and ensuring each patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Assist Patients with their personal needs, maintaining solid product knowledge, and always provide the highest level of customer service.

• Assist the Dispensary Manager and the Dispensary Assistant Manager in all activities related to inventory management


• Assist the Dispensary Manager and the Dispensary Assistant manager in all activities and responsibilities related to Standard operating procedure compliance and training


• Assist the Dispensary Manager and the Dispensary Assistant Manager in all activities related to opening and closing the dispensary

Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager will oversee the operation of the Curaleaf Dispensary. Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Dispensary Manager. This person will work to improve dispensary sales, profitability, and image through extraordinary customer service, protection of store assets, supervising team members in the absence of the store manager.

Customer Experience

• Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.


• Greets patients and offers assistance with products and services.


• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Curaleaf service traits.


• Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers' special needs.

Operations

• Supervises operation of the store and team members, opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members


• Supervises the control of the store money including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders and oversees all aspects of bookkeeping including ledger, invoices, cash reports and time records.


• Learns to analyze inventory trends and supervises inventory management, including ordering items, keeping stock, and leveraging company resources to avoid outs and overstock.


• Supervises receiving, stocking, pricing, returning, and transferring of merchandise. • Ensures that store/grounds are clean and presentable; manages repair and maintenance; responds to emergencies.


• Supervises operations of assigned location including strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.


• Maintains knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software (e.g. registers, Biotrack, etc.). Ensures response to all systems problems by contacting information technology support and seeking solutions.


• Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.


• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned, including assisting team members as needed.


• Willing to travel to other locations for training and/or coverage Daily Planning and Execution


• Assigns daily operational responsibilities and tasks and sets expectations for store team members and assistant managers. Business Performance Management

The Store Manager ensures that the dispensary operations comply with the State Regulations and internally approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). The Dispensary Manager collaborates with the Senior Retail Leaders to develop, document, and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support performance and results-driven culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the highest level of presentation, customer service, and compassion to all patients


• Responsible for managing the dispensary department in a manner that supports the organizations' mission


• Provide departmental leadership to assure that all departmental operations such as admissions, patient consulting, product dispensing, cash management, inventory management, inventory auditing, outreach, marketing, and ordering are functioning with integrity and in the most cost-efficient, compassionate, and compliant manner


• Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reviews and provide suggestions for improvement to the Executive Director


• Responsible for ensuring vigilance, adherence, and departmental compliance with the Medical Use of Marijuana Program and HIPPA regulations, including but not limited to confidentiality, training, patient record keeping, submissions of reports, preparation of policies and procedures, acting as a departmental contact person for regulators and law enforcement personnel


• Reviewing, maintaining, and updating all departmental SOP's and assuring that any changes are communicated to employees and the most recent SOP versions are available 24/7 for planned and unplanned audits by regulators and organization management


• Overseeing and ensuring cash management procedures are followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining, and reconciling cash with all departmental SOP's

Compliance

• Practice policies and procedures related to the protection of personal and sensitive data must be adhered to at all times


• Assists senior leadership in adhering to all regulatory licenses and processing of renewals


• Responsible for leading and complying with planned and unplanned quarterly audits/inspections

Inventory Control and Management

• Creating new product and price points for our products


• Ensuring proper management of pre-packaged inventory and inventory movement between the vault and dispensing stations


• Overseeing and ensuring nightly audits & 30-day audits are conducted in conjunction with all departments


• Responsible for organizing regular meetings with suppliers to optimize discounts and achieve the best pricing in the market

Marketing and Outreach

• Organize and lead guest tours and maintaining relationships within our local communities


• Responsible for ongoing education and outreach programs


• Responsible for maintaining all social media content in a professional way that portrays a best in class company image


• Coordinate on the success of promotions, coupon and recommend future promotions and sales


• Measure customer satisfaction through surveys and interviews


• Responsible for the preparation of content for all educational materials and presentations

Human Resources

• Records Retention


• Accountable for resolving day to day employee benefits administration issue


• Planning & coordination of staff meetings and company-sponsored events

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors Degree in business, management, or related areas


• Experience working in a fast-paced environment; 5-7 years in a progressively responsible retail experience, including at least three years in a management position


• Proficient computing skills; MSWord, Outlook, Excel


• Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match


• Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction


• High level of integrity


• Must be at least 21 years of age


• Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
