Position
The Director of Sales will be responsible for the achieving budgetary goals and sales objectives. The ideal candidate will lead the sales department to maximize revenues and profit through a direct sales effort in accordance with the budget and established revenue goals. The Director of Sales will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive business plan for the Northeast sales territory and manage all sales activities
- Responsible for leading the sales team in the Northeast markets and ensuring strategic goals are met and exceeded
- Present strategy and market opportunities regularly to senior leadership. Regularly report updates on results against business objectives to senior leadership.
- Oversee and execute sales strategy on Solar’s brand portfolio of products including flower, edibles, concentrates, and other offerings

- Collaborate with sales, marketing and brand development teams to engage Solar retail staff, merchandise displays, and increase Solar brand presence with third-party dispensary partners
- Oversee the creation and maintain promotional materials of Solar’s brand and products for all cannabis wholesale partners
- Work with the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Marketing Associate (including Brand Ambassadors) to manage trade shows and other marketing events through best class implementation of marketing activations including but not limited to in-store pop-ups and other on-site and off-site industry events
- Coordinate in-store events with different tones to appeal to various audiences that focus on promoting Solar’s Somerset and Seekonk retail dispensaries
- Work with the Director of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Associate to develop website and blog content that align with the cannabis industry, Solar’s brands, products, initiatives.
- Work with Marketing Associate to coordinate the creation, development and execution of bi-weekly email campaign newsletters, weekly SMS campaigns, and various personalized ad/drip campaigns.
- Assist with the creation of wholesale marketing assets including relevant product sales decks, informational one-sheets related to the Solar brand and its products
- Update and maintain Solar’s digital asset harddrive to ensure product and promotional materials are readily available, and old materials are retired
- Oversee the maintenance of Solar’s online adult-use menus for new products (images, descriptions)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (Required)
- 2 - 5 years of experience in a marketing role (Required)
- A deep knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, Snap, FB, LI, ClubHouse)
- A keen eye for relevant and trending content on social platforms as well as potential for strategic alliances
- Understanding of email and SMS marketing platforms (AlpineIQ)
- Knowledge of cannabis industry, marijuana & marijuana-infused products (MIPS) a plus

The Position:
We are looking for a professional, hardworking, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable IPM Technician to join our team. The IPM Technician is primarily responsible for regularly monitoring plants throughout all growth cycles to identify pest risks, mix necessary agents, and apply/spray plants with applicable products as needed. This individual will work alongside with the Director of Cultivation and other members of Cultivation Management on establishing and fine tuning the IPM processes.
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of plants in grow rooms for potential pest risk

The Position:
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the company’s supplier sourcing selection and management process. The Supply Chain Manager will act as the primary point of contact and develop the strategic relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Establish dynamic performance metrics for evaluating internal and external factors affecting the inbound procurement of raw inputs, the production of product as it travels across departments, and the outbound allocation of product per channel
- Partner with the Inventory Manager to maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies and establish systems and contingency plans to mitigate potential shortages
- Provide real-time visibility on the availability and cost of supplies and materials

The Position:

The Position:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for the achieving budgetary goals and sales objectives. The Position:

The Position:
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our facilities team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving all types of incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as track inventory, and data entry.

- Receive incoming parcels and freight from UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other carriers.
- Create bill of ladings and arrange pickups with freight carriers for outgoing shipments
- Verify that incoming and outgoing shipments match what is on the packing list

- Maintain copies of all packing slips and bill of ladings

The Position:
We are seeking an experienced Lab Testing Coordinator to join our team. In this exciting, newly created role, you will work heavily across multiple departments to coordinate lab samples, testing schedules, and maintain tracking manifests for laboratory transports.
Responsibilities:
- Work across multiple departments to coordinate lab sample production schedule
- Build and maintain tracking manifest for labs transport
- Schedule and oversee all lab logistics to/from state-certified testing laboratories
- Maintain relationships with key contacts at state-certified testing laboratories
- Act as main point-of-contact for all lab related internal tracking systems and databases
- Coordinate and schedule lab logistics between cultivation/post-harvest teams, cannabis manufacturing teams and kitchen teams
Qualifications:
- METRC experience (Required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites
- Strong organizational and mathematical skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in production calculating requirements; assembling and weighing plant material and supplies for supercritical CO2 extraction: emptying extraction vessels
- Operate intricate equipment, wipe film distillation and rotary evaporator, in accordance with Solar Therapeutics’ Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials and equipment, and preparing requisitions as needed.
- Work with state licensed third party testing lab to ensure QC
- Make distillate
- Oversee cartridge filling
- Clean and help maintain laboratory equipment
- Complete data entry into various marijuana tracking systems including METRC
- Store supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory working areas sanitary and safe
- Report leaks and faulty equipment to Laboratory Manager
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by the Laboratory Manager

The Position:
We are looking for a hardworking and responsible individual to join our team as a Facilities Technician. The ideal candidate will be reliable and will have extensive electrical and plumbing experience. This person will operate efficiently while staying in compliance with all applicable codes, laws, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial electrical and plumbing troubleshooting and maintenance
- Facility equipment installation and troubleshooting as required
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a scheduled maintenance timeline to ensure proper facilities upkeep, including all machinery, fixtures, HVAC units, electrical and plumbing infrastructure and equipment
- Work closely with department managers on repairs and general maintenance needed on equipment and building maintenance.
- Assist in the planning and execution of renovations
- Complete various building repairs
- Check for potential safety issues in all public areas on a daily basis and bring them to the attention of the manager on duty
- Make sure all doors, windows, entrances and exits are securely closed and locked when you’re the last person to leave the building
- Work with the groundskeeping team when necessary to remove debris, leaves, snow and other obstructions from parking lot areas.
- Assist the Director of Facilities and Facilities Manager with other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a Facility Technician or Maintenance role within a manufacturing or similar facility

The Position:

The Position

The Position:

The Position:
We are looking for a professional, hardworking, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable IPM Technician to join our team. The IPM Technician is primarily responsible for regularly monitoring plants throughout all growth cycles to identify pest risks, mix necessary agents, and apply/spray plants with applicable products as needed. This individual will work alongside with the Director of Cultivation and other members of Cultivation Management on establishing and fine tuning the IPM processes.
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of plants in grow rooms for potential pest risk
- Scoping plants and identifying any problem areas
- Application of beneficial insects to plants
- Conduct all foliar feeding and preventive spraying
- Assessing plant response and overall effectiveness of IPM procedures
- Cleaning fertigation lines and tanks
- Work with Director of Cultivation and Cultivation Management on spray scheduling
- Mix pesticides and preventive solutions appropriately
- Monitor and track efficacy of product applications
- Maintain all application logs

- Assist in production calculating requirements; assembling and weighing plant material and supplies for supercritical CO2 extraction: emptying extraction vessels
- Operate intricate equipment, wipe film distillation and rotary evaporator, in accordance with Solar Therapeutics’ Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials and equipment, and preparing requisitions as needed.
- Work with state licensed third party testing lab to ensure QC
- Make distillate
- Oversee cartridge filling
- Clean and help maintain laboratory equipment
- Complete data entry into various marijuana tracking systems including METRC
- Store supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory working areas sanitary and safe
- Report leaks and faulty equipment to Laboratory Manager

The Position:
We are looking for a hardworking and responsible individual to join our team as a Facilities Technician. The ideal candidate will be reliable and will have extensive electrical and plumbing experience. This person will operate efficiently while staying in compliance with all applicable codes, laws, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial electrical and plumbing troubleshooting and maintenance
- Facility equipment installation and troubleshooting as required
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a scheduled maintenance timeline to ensure proper facilities upkeep, including all machinery, fixtures, HVAC units, electrical and plumbing infrastructure and equipment
- Work closely with department managers on repairs and general maintenance needed on equipment and building maintenance.
- Assist in the planning and execution of renovations
- Complete various building repairs
- Check for potential safety issues in all public areas on a daily basis and bring them to the attention of the manager on duty
- Make sure all doors, windows, entrances and exits are securely closed and locked when you’re the last person to leave the building
- Work with the groundskeeping team when necessary to remove debris, leaves, snow and other obstructions from parking lot areas.
- Assist the Director of Facilities and Facilities Manager with other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a Facility Technician or Maintenance role within a manufacturing or similar facility
- Experience with plumbing and electrical required
- Must be proactive, have strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills

The Position:
We are seeking an energetic Marketing Associate who is relationship-oriented, solutions-focused, articulate, and fluent in supporting the growth of a brand. This person will play a key role in working closely with the Marketing Manager, as well as the rest of the marketing team to effectively communicate the Solar brand to its target markets. The Marketing Associate will conceptualize and execute various tactics that will help elevate the Solar brand, raise awareness of Solar’s position and stance within the cannabis industry, create brand loyalty and brand evangelism.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize unique tactics that will help raise visibility and encourage new dispensary customers to Solar retail locations.
- Assist in delivery of bi-weekly email campaign newsletters, weekly SMS campaigns, and various personalized ad/drip campaigns.
- Assist in management of third party cannabis ordering platforms (Leafly & Weedmaps).
- Create and maintain promotional materials of Solar’s brand and products for all cannabis wholesale partners.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field

- A deep knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, Snap, FB, LI, ClubHouse)
- A keen eye for relevant and trending content on social platforms that will drive engagement
- Understanding of email and SMS marketing platforms

- Operate intricate equipment, wipe film distillation and rotary evaporator, in accordance with Solar Therapeutics’ Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials and equipment, and preparing requisitions as needed.
- Work with state licensed third party testing lab to ensure QC
- Make distillate
- Oversee cartridge filling
- Clean and help maintain laboratory equipment
- Complete data entry into various marijuana tracking systems including METRC
- Store supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory working areas sanitary and safe
- Report leaks and faulty equipment to Laboratory Manager
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by the Laboratory Manager

The Position
We are looking for professional, hardworking, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to join our team. The Cultivation Associate is primarily responsible for the order, cleanliness, and efficiency of cultivation operations by performing labor work duties in coordination with the Director of Cultivation.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of all manufactured products
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Execute all activities in the veg, flower, and dry rooms
- Track and record all veg or flower room data as directed
- Keep veg, flower rooms and dry rooms immaculate and fully operational.
- Take part in overall facility cleanliness
- Complete any tasks assigned by the Director of Cultivation
Qualifications
- Great interpersonal/communication skills

- Cannabis knowledge preferred

The Position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic social media manager intern to join our marketing department and help provide creative ideas to achieve our ambitious goals for 2020.
At Solar (the country's only energy-independent cannabis cultivation/production facility), the ideal candidate will have a knack for developing/managing various social channels and contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic integrated marketing initiatives.
He/she will collaborate with our marketing team's graphic designer and videographer, as well as Solar social influencers to strategically curate and post social media content that helps market Solar. The candidate's contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our brand presence within the Massachusetts cannabis community and could lead to a full time position with the company.
This internship will build the candidate's social content portfolio and allow them to acquire valuable skills within the traditional and digital marketing concentrations. The job can also lead to a full time salaried position at the end of the internship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understands the overall concept of the Solar, including its story, space in the cannabis market, brand, customer, products and product goals, and all other aspects of service.
- Work with Director of Marketing to brainstorm campaign ideas for various channels (Instagram, FB, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch, etc.)
- Work with Director of Marketing to analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Work with in-house videographer to post hype reels for new genetics, new products (extractions, edibles, etc.)
- Work with in-house graphic designer to conceptualize engaging content that can be created for various Solar social channels.
- Shadow different Solar teams (cultivation, lab, kitchen, dispensary, etc.) and post engaging content + stories highlighting their day-to-day activities.
- Capture and promote new products and events taking place at Solar.
- Collaborate with other social influencers that will be aligning with Solar on various campaigns.
- Develop social persona that could be a face/spokesperson for the Solar brand.
- Spearhead creating engaging Solar-branded Youtube series and podcast that focuses on cannabis industry and other industries that could tie back to cannabis (fashion, pop culture, art, sports, etc.)
- Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
